An incredibly talented Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim fan designed Daedric Armor cosplay that's even received praise from Bethesda on social media. This doesn't mark the first time that someone has created Skyrim-inspired Daedric Armor cosplay; needless to say, it's likely far from the last time, too. One of the most recognizable armor sets in-game, the Daedric Armor boasts five separate pieces, including an optional shield that ties the ebony-colored ensemble together.

Notably, the heavy Daedric attire enjoys a long history in The Elder Scrolls universe. The famous armor set first appeared in 2002's The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, where it bore quite the terror-inducing design when compared to its more modern counterparts. Another version of the Daedric Armor appeared in Oblivion a few short years later, with a rather striking design style that elevated the look of the original. The Daedric gear in Skyrim bears a much darker tone in terms of color; the same color scheme didn't make the transition to The Elder Scrolls Online's Light, Medium, and Heavy variations of the iconic armor set, though.

Prop maker and cosplayer Daedricarmoury recently took to Instagram to share photos of their remarkable Skyrim-inspired Daedric Armor cosplay. The build includes every piece of the main armor set - a helmet, boots, gauntlets, and the cuirass and greaves included. The attention to detail on the design is nothing short of impressive, too, so much so that Daedricarmoury even received the approval of Bethesda. Notably, the official Bethesda_UK Instagram replied to the post with the following comment: "Hope to see you stomping through MCM."

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim may have recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, but the groundbreaking role-playing game continues to inspire creators of all kinds, evidenced in the Skyrim-themed fan art and cosplay designs that often make the rounds online. And since the title received another major release late last year with the advent of the Anniversary Edition, even more artists are bound to be moved by certain aspects of the open-world experience.

Bethesda Softworks rolled out the aforementioned Anniversary Edition for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in November 2021 as a way to celebrate the RPG's 10th anniversary. This new version of the classic adventure introduced a whole host of fresh content to the experience, such as fishing mechanics, the Saints and Seducers arc, Survival Mode, the Rare Curios creation, and hundreds of Skyrim's Creation Club Content offerings. Jury's out on whether or not this will serve as the final re-release for Bethesda Game Studios' beloved RPG.
