It has come to light that Christine Brown from Sister Wives has had an issue with Robyn for quite some time, with grievances dating back to season 4. Christine always thought she would be the last wife of Kody Brown. However, after 15 years of marriage, the patriarch shocked everyone with the new addition.
Christine was content being a stay-at-home mom until her life was turned upside down by a fourth wife. Christine married Kody in 1994, and the two have six children together: Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truely. The third wife was a fan favorite since she always had an upbeat personality. During her marriage to Kody, Christine would often keep her feelings to herself and not open up to her sister wives. Christine's standoffish approach to conflict proved unproductive as she has now chosen to leave Kody for good and move to Utah.
Christine's decision to walk away from her polygamist family didn't come as a surprise to Sister Wives viewers, who know she has been unhappy for a while. Christine often left clues about being uncomfortable within her marriage, with many issues pointing back to Robyn and Kody's relationship. During earlier seasons, Christine often noted she had a serious issue with the structure of her family. During season 4, in the episode "Polygamist Date Nights," Christine was caught speaking with Kody's first wife, Meri. During the conversation, Christine revealed that she couldn't "get over" Kody's decision to court Robyn.
Sadly, season 4 was not the first time Christine was open about her issues with Robyn. TLC viewers will recall that Christine became furious when Kody and Robyn shared they had been intimate prior to their official union. The mother of six was appalled by her husband even thinking it was a good idea to date while she was pregnant with their child. It seems it was hard for Christine to get over her feelings towards Robyn and Kody when it came to them wronging her.
While Sister Wives viewers have always thought Robyn was more interested in a monogamous lifestyle, Kody has stuck it out with his three other wives. In November, Christine officially left Kody and moved to Utah to start her life over. Most of the couple's children, including Mykelti, seem to be on their mother's side. The current season is showing the final breakdown of the couple's relationship as the two can not find common ground.
