The TLC star has embraced sharing his truth, even when it may get him in trouble with the network.
Fans are used to hearing Sister Wives' Paedon Brown's take on current affairs. But recently, they got more than they bargained for when Paedon let lip on TikTok (and shared by ganachesally8736 on Reddit) that Sister Wives will be making a return to the small screen in the fall. He was seen sitting on his couch telling fans there was going to be an "18th season in September."
The Sister Wives star revealed that the past 12 years had been "absolutely phenomenal" and credited the success of the family show to the fans who have kept it running all these years. Paedon admitted that Sister Wives season 18 is a year behind what's actually happening since it takes so "long" to film.

During the same TikTok Live, Paedon shared that he met Christine's new beau, David Woolley, noting that the encounter took place "a while" ago. While Paedon didn't elaborate on what he thought of David, the aspiring firefighter did reveal that he believes Sister Wives season 18 will be Janelle Brown's time to shine. During the Sister Wives tell-all reunion special, Janelle shared that she and Kody had been separated for months, which left everyone wondering if she would be having a hot girl summer ahead of her.
Currently, Kody is down to one wife, his favorite Robyn Brown, and they still live in Flagstaff, Arizona. Sister Wives season 17 showed Kody trying to gaslight his four spouses more than once; he even tried yelling at them during family arguments. Meri Brown also revealed in the New Year that her relationship with Kody had run its course as she was also single.
With Sister Wives season 18 filming well underway, there are high hopes when it comes to what the new season will hold. Christine already shared that TLC cameras were filming in her new Murray, Utah, home and that David would also be taking part. While Kody has yet to meet David, he is reportedly unhappy with how Christine moved on so fast. Hopefully, Sister Wives season 18 focuses on Kody and David's introduction to one another, as there's no doubt the former will implode with jealousy.
