Sister Wives fans are watching some of the most tumultuous moments of the Brown family’s lives on screen this season, and they're wondering if Robyn Brown will ever leave Kody. Beginning with Christine Brown’s decision to leave her husband and the fellow wives, and move from Arizona to Utah, Sister Wives season 17 has been difficult for the family, and just got a lot harder. In recent episodes, it was made clear that Janelle Brown has separated from her husband, with the intention of leaving Kody as well. As Meri Brown and Kody have been all but separated for several years, this would leave Robyn Brown as Kody’s only remaining wife.

For over thirty years, the Brown family has revolved around the fact that they have been involved in plural marriage. Kody’s children have nearly all grown up in a polygamous environment, and though many of the older children have not seemed to express interest in it for themselves, the break-up of their large family cannot be easy. Robyn, Kody’s youngest and newest wife, legally married into the family in 2014. She has expressed interest in plural marriage in the past, which leads fans to speculate on whether she will stay with Kody now that she is his only wife.

Robyn Brown Was Looking For Plural Marriage

Many viewers have expressed concern about Robyn staying with Kody when she is the only wife left standing. Robyn has been legally married to Kody since 2014, and the pair tied the knot nearly a decade after Robyn divorced her first husband David Jessop. Kody, who legally divorced Meri in order to marry Robyn and adopt her three children, was no stranger to plural marriage at the time. It was Robyn’s first foray into polygamy, however, which she had been looking for a way into. Part of the draw to Kody for Robyn was the fact that she would be entering into a polygamous relationship, as Kody already had three other wives.

On Sister Wives season 17, two of Kody’s wives, Christine and Janelle, were both shown to be separating from their husband. While Meri has asserted that she will not leave Kody, the two have shared intimate, troubling details about their relationship in the past that lead viewers to believe they are essentially divorced. This leaves Robyn as the only wife, which is not what she was interested in when she entered into marriage with Kody. Though Robyn has explained she doesn’t actually believe Kody and Christine are divorced, she will still need to deal with the fallout from Christine’s move away from Arizona, and Janelle’s seemingly eventual departure from the family.

Viewers are concerned about Robyn’s longevity in her relationship, wondering if she will try to leave and find another plural marriage to settle into. Though Robyn and Kody do tend to fight on Sister Wives, many see Robyn’s principles as stronger than her emotions. Even when they are not necessarily accurate, Robyn stands strong in her beliefs and even stronger in her faith. Having entered into a marriage with Kody, both legally and spiritually, she would have a difficult time deciding to leave regardless of any struggle she has with being Kody’s only wife.
