Robyn Brown has had much to say about Kody and Christine's relationship since the pair have fallen apart in Sister Wives season 16, but most recently, Robyn asserted that she doesn't believe the polygamous partners have divorced. During the tell-all special, the Brown family discussed the current dilapidated state of Kody's plural marriage, and Robyn made several claims that puzzled her followers and family members. From her religious beliefs to preventing the emergence of a new sister wife, here's why Sister Wives fans think Robyn Brown doesn't believe Kody and Christine split.

Sadly, Kody and Robyn lost control of their family throughout Sister Wives season 16. In an effort to prevent COVID-19 from spreading throughout the polygamous clan, Kody enacted a long list of strict social distancing rules. This guideline was unpopular with Janelle and Christine because the protocol effectively transformed Kody's plural marriage into a monogamous relationship with Robyn. Viewers, alongside Robyn's fellow sister wives, accused the fourth wife of influencing Kody's rules so he would spend the most time with her. Regardless of her involvement in the COVID-19 guidelines, Kody and Robyn lost authority over their family when Christine departed. Although the former husband and wife have both confirmed their breakup, Robyn Brown doesn't believe Kody and Christine split.

Although the Sister Wives tell-all special was meant to clear up many of the questions fans had for the Brown family following a chaotic season 16, viewers left the tell-all more puzzled than they came into it. Throughout the special, the Sister Wives stars contradicted one another as they gave disparate takes on the Brown clan's pressing matters. Specifically, Robyn created confusion when she denied the end of Kody and Christine's spiritual marriage. Both Kody and Christine took to social media to confirm that their 27-year marriage concluded in November 2021, and Christine assured viewers that they are no more during the tell-all. This didn't prevent Robyn from arguing that Kody and Christine are still together in her head. Fans are confused by Robyn's knowledge of the breakup, prompting a Reddit user to wonder, "I don’t get why Robyn thinks she gets a say in this?"

Robyn Brown in Sister Wives

Fans believe they know what Robyn's intention was in stating that Kody and Christine remain spiritually linked. Skeptical viewers claim that Robyn doesn't want Christine's vacancy to lead to the arrival of another sister wife. One fan theorized, "[Robyn] needs to convince Kody that he still has 4 wives so he doesn't go find a new one to replace her." If Kody got another wife, Robyn's role as Kody's favorite spouse is in jeopardy. Other viewers suspect that Robyn's religious beliefs prevent her from accepting Kody and Christine's spiritual divorce. Some polygamous Mormons believe the more wives a family has, the more likely they are to get to heaven. Robyn might want to secure Christine as a member of the Brown family to get into heaven, but one commenter assured her, "Three is enough for their tier of heaven, so as long as Meri doesn't leave they're good."

Kody and Christine confirmed that they are done with their relationship, but if it's up to Robyn, the Sister Wives couple is still going strong. Whether she's trying to convince her husband that he doesn't need another wife or attempting to secure her spot in the afterlife, Robyn Brown doesn't believe Kody and Christine split. Sadly, Robyn's reality isn't the same as her fellow Sister Wives stars' who have established that there's no chance Christine will return to her spiritual marriage with Kody.
