Robyn Brown of Sister Wives is not the most popular cast member within the franchise, but she could become more well-liked among fans if she tried. There is no doubt that there are plenty of instances when viewers found Robyn to be a boring addition to the family. But some feel if she put in a little work, she could change her standing amongst fans.
It is hard to deny that Robyn has become one of the least popular polygamists on Sister Wives, with fans dubbing her "Sobbin Robyn." For a few seasons, Robyn has become distrusted as many feel like she manipulates the entire Brown family - including her husband, Kody Brown. TLC viewers have been extremely critical of Robyn and her unpopular decisions, including her part in the COVID-19 house rules. Viewers can't help but think her long-term goal is to separate the family and Kody from his three other wives. And yet, even amongst all the hate, there are some followers who feel like Robyn could possibly redeem herself.
One major element that could help Robyn become more liked is if she started to use her social media again. She hasn't posted on her Instagram since March 2019, which has raised quite a few red flags in viewers' minds. While Meri, Janelle, and Christine are all very interactive with their Sister Wives fans, Robyn chooses to sit out on the sidelines and stay mostly quiet. When she does post, she either posts positive affirmation memes or annoys fans with her opinion about an episode. While she may not have needed a social media manager, a bit more activity on her accounts could go a long way.
Kody's fourth wife could also stop playing into the "villain" role. At times, it seemed like Robyn enjoyed being the most hated star of Sister Wives. There are better ways for her to act when it comes to dealing with the large clan. Fans often tired of her "woe is me" act and wished she would just be honest. Instead of trying to convince her costars so much that she had nothing to do with the rules, Robyn should stand her ground and explain that her son needed to be protected due to his lung condition.
For now, it looks like Robyn will continue to be the scapegoat for the family's issues. She doesn't look like she has any interest when it comes to changing fans' opinions about her. Currently, she is happy spending most of her time with Kody and away from the other wives. Fans also will continue their love-or-hate relationship with the star. Hopefully, Sister Wives season 17 will show Robyn trying to be more liked.
