Sister Wives fans believe Meri Brown may be the next wife to leave Kody Brown. The two have not had a traditional marriage as the patriarch fell out of love with his first wife quickly. Meri has tried her best to stick it out for better or for worse, but the mother of one has had enough.

Meri shared with viewers during Sister Wives season 16 that she hadn't felt a part of the large polygamous Brown family in years. Since Sister Wives Meri's catfishing scandal, the entire family seems to have shunned her, including Kody. The father of 18 has already stated that he has no desire to be intimate with Meri and feels like they are a divorced couple living on the same street. With such harsh words, fans can't help but wonder if Meri will be the next to walk away from the family, following in Christine Brown's footsteps. While she often tries to play the victim, Meri has been getting out of her house more and more, showing Kody she can survive without him.

Meri Brown From Sister Wives

Many years ago, Meri was having an affair with a person online who she thought was a man but was actually a woman. The affair lasted for six months back in March of 2015 as Meri, who might be splitting from Kody, revealed she believed to be corresponding with a man named Sam. Sadly, once "Sam" was outed as Jackie Overton, things turned ugly. Jackie leaked compromising photos of Meri, which included Meri kissing a banana and showing her leg in the bathtub. Needless to say, Kody was not impressed by the betrayal.

After a few rough years, Meri could be more than ready to leave Kody. In the past year and a half, Meri has taken steps to forge a new group of friends thanks to social media and her job at LuLaRoe. Sister Wives fans have seen multiple updates from Meri, which have included trips to Mexico and Hawaii. She also seems to be spending more time at her B&B, Lizzie's Heritage Inn, which Meri owns.

Next week's brand-new episode of Sister Wives will show Kody telling Meri she should move to Parowan, Utah, permanently. The strife is worsening within the family, and Kody is becoming more strict on who he will allow to stay close to him. In a monologue during the last episode, Kody expressed the need to be the head of the household again, noting that he would not have people around him who he couldn't trust. The proof is in the pudding, with fans thinking Meri will likely be the next wife to leave.
