She's seen as both manipulative and a crier, and viewers feel Robyn's needs and emotions are sometimes too much for the rest of the Brown family to handle. It is quite evident that many who watch the show loath Robyn for what they perceive as an unfair partnership. Many, including some of the Brown children and spouses, have blamed Robyn for the predicament the large family has found themselves in. Even though Robyn feels that she brings balance to the group, most would argue she's responsible for the family's downfall.
Robyn often claims that she is sweet and loves all of her sister wives, but old footage shows just how wrong Robyn is. Viewers will recall Meri went through a rough time physically and emotionally with her infertility, as she always wanted more than one child. The clip in question, which was shared by user boogin92 on Reddit, shows Robyn giving a very odd speech to Meri, noting that Kody's first wife likes to keep her household items nice. The conversation becomes a bit bizarre after Robyn points out that if Meri did have more children, the furniture wouldn't be nice anymore, saying, "a little boy could come and scratch his name" into the wall. Viewers immediately felt Robyn was being extremely insensitive to Meri and her feelings.
In the comments, Sister Wives viewers all agreed that it was rude of Robyn to make such a comment to Meri. Many pointed out that it was probable Meri had already gone through these same scenarios in her own head, explaining Robyn was just driving the fact home that Meri would never have those experiences again. Supportive viewers also shared that they had noticed Robyn bring up Meri's infertility issues more than Meri herself did.
