Kody has been a thorn in viewers' sides for years due to his bad attitude. He and Robyn have been trying to control the family for seasons, but have only shown themselves to be hypocrites.
Without a doubt, Kody has hurt the public view of polygamy. As the Brown family patriarch, Kody has tried to control his large plural family for years, but has done more harm than good when it comes to improving viewers' understanding of their family dynamics. The last straw for fans was during the worldwide pandemic, when Kody came across as a dictator. The family dysfunction was rife, and members started pulling away. Kody believed he was fighting for a just cause, but Sister Wives fans always wondered if he genuinely believed in it.
Gwen Calls Out Kody And Robyn
It turns outs Kody and Robyn have not been inoculated against the coronavirus. Recently, Gwen shared her recap opinions on the fifth episode of the newest Sister Wives season, as she revealed Kody's strict rules were "ironic" considering the fact that neither he nor his fourth wife, Robyn, was vaccinated. Gwen went on to share that while Meri, Janelle, Christine, and most of the children have been given the three shots, Kody has held out. Gwen shared her opinions telling Sister Wives fans, "Those two don't believe in vaccines, which is really ironic considering everything that's been going on in the show."
Sister Wives Fans Are Left Confused
Sister Wives fans will recall that during the height of the pandemic, Kody implemented some intense rules which required everyone in his family to change clothes after they returned home from a public space, wear masks, wipe down their mail, and keep their distance. Viewers took to the comments to complain about how Robyn and Kody "rant and raved" about their fear, but did nothing to help.
The recent season of Sister Wives showed Robyn falling ill to COVID-19 and hospitalizing herself. Fans were outraged since she was breathing on her own and then was taking up a much-needed bed in the hospital. Even Kody became dramatic as he told cameras he wanted to sign himself in to be with Robyn. Viewers were left angry by the revelation that both stars refused to be vaccinated, and wonder how the next season will address the hypocrisy.
