For months, Sister Wives viewers have questioned what would become of Christine's plot of land out at Coyote Pass with news finally being revealed that Kody Brown has evidently bought his third wife out. The Brown family has experienced a lot of turmoil since season 16 wrapped. However, Kody is still trying his best to make his dream out in Arizona a reality.
The Browns have become pros at moving mainly because Kody decided he wanted to uproot everyone yet again and leave their beloved cul-de-sac behind. The Brown family moved from Las Vegas to the Arizona desert with little explanation from the family patriarch. During the most recent season, the four wives and Kody were at odds over the layout of Coyote Pass. At the time, Christine voiced her desire to move back to Utah, while Kody shared he wanted to build one big home. As Sister Wives viewers are aware, Kody has yet to decide what to do with the land that was purchased back in 2018, as no one has broken ground on their homes.
However, Christine and Kody's son Paedon has shed some light on more than one issue going on within his family. During a recent Q&A on Instagram, Paedon shared some surprising news, saying that Christine no longer owns her parcel but made a profit because she "sold it back to Dad." It was obvious to viewers that Christine didn't care about Coyote Pass or see it in her future, so it makes sense that she sold it back. In December, it was reported that Kody and Robyn were trying to obtain a loan for the amount of $130,000, which might have been used to buy Christine out.
When the Browns bought their land in 2018, they paid $820,000 for it. The paperwork showed that each wife bought a few acres with Kody signed on to each. Christine was given 5.16 acres which were believed to also be near the lake that the family often fought over. During the walk-around in the last season, Christine tried her best to wrap her head around building a home on the land, but viewers could see her heart wasn't in it. Kody, on the other hand, still has big dreams for his family and hopes to one day break ground.
Paedon also shared that his mother checked out of her marriage to his father five years ago. The 23-year-old claimed it was revealed to Christine that Kody was deeply in love with Robyn. While it may have taken a few years to build up the courage to leave, Sister Wives viewers are thrilled she has moved on and sold back one of her last remaining connections to Kody.
