Christine and Kody Brown from TLC's Sister Wives just can't seem to come to an understanding when it comes to parenting their daughter, Truely. The mother and father both have drastically different opinions on what a good upbringing looks like for their child. Kody and Christine are also trying to work through an amicable divorce, but the tides may be changing.

Christine and Kody have not seen eye to eye on a lot of major issues when it comes to their marriage. Kody always felt he did a stand-up job as husband and father, but Christine would often push back, pointing out he dropped the ball numerous times. Over their 25-year-marriage, Christine has had to shoulder most of the parenting as Kody went between four different households and tried to balance being a father to 18 children. Sadly, a lot of the Brown children got lost in the shuffle, and Truely became one of the daughters Kody seemed to forget about.

The next episode of Sister Wives will show Kody trying to step up his parental control, according to a preview clip shared by People. TLC viewers have watched Kody handle the breakdown of his marriage a lot better than anyone ever expected him to. However, the preview shows Kody demanding shared custody of their 12-year-old daughter after Christine reveals that she wants to move back to the Salt Lake City area, which Kody points out is an eight-hour drive.

The Sister Wives clip shares Christine's view on moving her daughter away from her father, noting that she feels her pre-teen will adjust accordingly. Kody is floored by Christine's views, telling her that she shouldn't take Truely away from him "because we'll have to have a shared custody. It will have to be 50/50." Kody later tells the cameras that he wasn't going to wait around and let Christine walk all over him without objecting. However, as Sister Wives viewers have seen on social media, Christine and Truely are living in Utah, so Kody may have lost the battle.

Kody has been batting with his emotions surrounding the fact that Christine kicked him out of her Arizona home. Sister Wives fans learned in the most recent episode that the mother of six packed up all his belongings and moved them to the garage. Kody stated that the couple's issues stemmed from her not asking his opinion on whether or not it was okay to be kicked out. Naturally, Christine has other opinions, as she has shared with fans that she was often left alone to act as a single mother. Kody may be trying to save face when it comes to fighting for custody, but most feel he is in a losing battle.
