Sister Wives is back, and Christine has admitted in the first episode that she still gets jealous of the other wives after all these years. The third wife of Kody Brown told the family that she does not like to see her husband with the other women. The Mormon and polygamist lifestyle have always been a very secretive world that does not always have the best impression on the public.
The Brown family chose to be documented in TLC's hit show Sister Wives. The TLC cameras follow husband Kody Brown and his four wives with their combined 18 children. The family was forced out of Utah due to strict laws that could have had Kody arrested and now are trying to live as a family unit in a society that looks down on their lifestyle. After deciding to move out of Las Vegas, they moved to Flagstaff, Arizona. However, there are plenty of hurdles because the wives will be living in four different houses in the same town, instead of on the same street.
The season 10 premiere has come and gone, and fans were not surprised to hear that the family has been struggling to keep their way of life. During a family dinner, the wives sat down with Kody to air out their grievances, but it left the family feeling further apart. The matriarchs of the family met up for the first time in months and openly spoke about how the physical divide had affected their "culture as a family." Christine was the most outspoken in her confessional when she revealed she had been feeling very isolated. While they are all geographically different, the worldwide pandemic also did not help them to reconnect.
Kody still wants to live in one giant house, but some of the wives are against it. Janel lead the charge on the conversation, asking some hard questions and if the women still wanted to be apart of The "Principle." The second wife explained that this term for plural marriage, saying, "it's the principle of plural marriage. The whole purpose we truly believe of living plural marriage is that you have to learn how to not be selfish."
Kody and Christine are having a rough go with the third wife, even admitting that their relationship has become stressful. Fans also learned that she was annoyed that she would only see her husband once or twice and week, and when he would show up, her family's life would be disrupted. It sure isn't looking good for this plural family.
