Janelle Brown of Sister Wives recently took to her son Garrison's social media page to joke that he may be turning into his father, Kody Brown, even amid the recent feud. The father and son have not been on the same page since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Kody felt he was disrespected by Garrison, who only wanted his concerns to be heard.

Garrison is extremely close with his mother since, at this point, she seems to be the only parent supporting him. To better himself, Garrison chose a career in the military. Due to his packed schedule, he has been away from home for a long time.. Luckily, in January, Garrison put down some roots in Flagstaff, Arizona, when he purchased a townhome that was built in 1979. The TLC star paid approximately $430,00 for his own place, which includes four bedrooms and two bathrooms. At one point during Sister Wives season 16, Janelle found herself in the middle of her son and Kody when he wanted to kick him out of the family home. Instead, Janelle allowed her son to stay so he could save money.

Garrison shared an update on single living when he took to his Instagram to share a story of him grilling a meal in his new home. Janelle then shared the same video on her profile as she was obviously proud of the meal her son had prepared. Garrison showed off his grilled chicken while noting it was his first time attempting to grill. Garrison joked with fans that "just like that, I became a 40 year old man." Janelle, who may have moved to Coyote Pass, then took the post a step further, noting that Garrison may be turning into his parent's writing, "they say it happens when you buy a house." Sadly, it didn't look like Kody was there to enjoy his son's grilling for the first time in his new home. As Janelle stated on the Sister Wives tell-all, several of the patriarch's children are at odds with him because of the way he handled his rules regarding COVID-19. At the time, Kody acknowledged that his relationship with Garrison was not on good terms since they were not speaking to one another. The father of 18 also shared that they would probably need therapy to work through their issues.

Garrison has been moving forward in his life. Besides buying a new home, he also adopted a cat who he named Catthew. The newest addition is said to be keeping him company while he is home from work and settling in. While it is obvious that Janelle is proud of her son, Kody has yet to openly speak on Garrison's achievements letting Sister Wives fans believe Kody will not be invited over for a grilled steak anytime soon.
