Janelle Brown is once again back on social media, and this time raving to Sister Wives fans about her son, Gabe Brown's new haircut. The son of Janelle and Kody Brown has had a rough year after the fallout with the patriarch. Fans watched as he broke down on the TLC series leading viewers to empathize with the young adult.
There is no denying that Janelle is one proud mother as she took to her social media to highlight Sister Wives' Gabe Brown's new, mature look.
For years, Gabe has sported long, curly, and at times, unruly locks, which he often wore down and sometimes up in a man bun. Janelle shared a video set to the ZZ Top song, "Sharp Dressed Man," as Gabe sat in the barber's chair with multiple ponytails getting snipped off. The end result was absolutely stunning, as Gabe sported a much shorter do and even had enough cut-off to donate to a local charity.
Sister Wives Fans Think Gabe Looks Great
Multiple Sister Wives viewers commented on the Instagram post and felt that the long hair never suited Gabe and preferred the shorter haircut. Others wrote that Gabe was a "gem" for donating his hair to those with cancer, as his hair will make a beautiful wig. Gabe has been in the spotlight for some time after the last season showed him at a crossroads with his father. Janelle also shared that even though Kody was her husband, she would always choose her children over the patriarch's needs or wants.
The 21-year-old has been very vocal about his feelings toward his father and his failure as a parent. Instead of taking constructive criticism, Sister Wives viewers watched as Kody attacked his child instead of acting like an adult. The drama started after Kody's implementation of his rigid rules around COVID-19. While the patriarch tried his best to protect his family, he alienated most of his older children. Sadly, Kody has never recovered from their fight, and they no longer have a relationship.
Multiple Sister Wives children have spoken out against Kody. Recently Gwen and Paedon Brown shared that they haven't really interacted with Kody and feel he has given up on them. Almost all the children have called out Kody's relationship with his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, noting she is a part of the problem. While Gabe may not have a father figure to look up to, he is lucky enough to have Janelle by his side, who is willing to take him to the barber and film his transformation.
