Janelle Brown is second wife to Kody Brown on Sister Wives, and she has become quite the businesswoman since the show started, now adding a retail business as her latest venture. She is known for having the most drama-free relationship with Kody, though the pair has more of a platonic relationship than the other wives. Janelle supported Christine Brown's decision to leave Kody in Sister Wives season 16, with many fans wondering if she would be the next to go. Janelle seems happy with her life in Flagstaff and has started putting down more roots with her newest business.

On Sister Wives, Janelle has managed to stay out of the drama and seems at peace with her marriage to Kody. They never appeared to have a strong romantic connection, but the pair's marriage has lasted nearly 30 years and they have six kids together. As each of the three other wives struggled, Robyn Brown feeling attacked by the others, Meri Brown feeling abandoned and getting caught up in a catfishing scandal, and Christine choosing to leave Kody, Janelle was steady in her relationship. However, in the Sister Wives Tell-All episodes, Janelle and Kody did not seem particularly "in love," but insisted that they are best friends and still committed to each other.

Since Janelle does not seem to get special attention from Kody, she has had time to work on herself and find her own passions to pursue. Aside from Sister Wives, Janelle spends her time promoting popular health and wellness brand, Plexus. She went on a weight loss journey, and is now giving fans her tips for getting into shape. Janelle has created her own personalized health coaching business after getting certified to coach.

Janelle and third wife, Christine, started working as influencers for Plexus drinks, which have become very popular with many Sister Wives fans. She seems to have expanded from health drinks to a retail business, possibly creating a store front for the Plexus headquarters. Janelle and the Browns have kept many details under wraps about the new business plans, but it proves that the Browns (minus Christine) are officially staying in Arizona.

According to Open Corporates, Janelle started her own retail trade business called NTYK, LLC back in September 2021. It is based in Flagstaff, not from from the Brown's property in Coyote Pass. She is listed as the agent of the LLC, giving her control over the company, but Kody, Meri, Christine, and Robyn are all listed as members. So far, the Browns have kept quiet about the specifics of the business, but based on its classification, it could be be Sister Wives merchandise or apparel. Fans may have to wait until the next season of Sister Wives to see what plans they have for the store, and whether Christine will be a part of it now that she has left Kody.
