On Monday, Sister Wives star Janelle Brown took some time to pay tribute to her late mother, who she lost last year. While Janelle usually doesn't post incredibly sappy pictures, the star shared that she was still grieving the loss of her best friend. Janelle's kind words and memories moved TLC followers.

Janelle is the second wife of Kody Brown and arguably one of the more successful unions out of the four. Since Sister Wives launched in 2010, Janelle has been the numbers wife, who lived her life on a realistic budget and was the most down-to-earth. Even though her sister wives, Meri, Christine, and Robyn, often dreamed of bigger things, Janelle is content growing her own food and keeping to herself. Throughout Janelle's entire marriage, she has always been supported by her mother, Sheryl Lee Brown. Janelle's mother made a couple of appearances on the series, including when Kody took all his mother-in-law's shopping.

It has been over a year since Sheryl passed away, but Janelle is still very much missing her mother. On Monday, the point was proven when Janelle shared a throwback picture of Sheryl holding one of her great-grandchildren. Janelle shared with her 580k followers that she was thinking of her mother, stating, "somedays I miss her more." Janelle has been a rock since her mother's passing. The mother of six has had to deal with the worldwide pandemic, arguing with her husband's COVID-19 rules and losing a sister wife, all without Sheryl's advice. Check out Janelle's post below:

On December 7, 2020, Janelle not only celebrated her mother's birthday but also lost her as well. Fans learned that Sherly had been suffering from an illness before she passed away. Sister Wives fans will recall that Sheryl was once married to Kody's father, Winn Brown. Sheryl and Janelle both entered the Brown family around the same time as they embraced plural marriage. Janelle had a close relationship with her mother as both converted to Apostolic United Brethren to be a part of the polygamous lifestyle.

Since Sheryl's passing, Janelle has done her best to honor her mother and hero. Throughout the year, Janelle has posted tributes in the form of sweet notes or photos on her social media. The entire family grieved the loss. The current season of Sister Wives is showing Janelle going through a rocky period with Kody since he is insisting she kick her older sons out of the family home. Janelle has remained steadfast in her beliefs as she continues to live life in honor of her mother.
