Fan-favorite Sister Wives star Janelle Brown has made a handful of accomplishments throughout her decade on the reality show. Since 2010, TLC has given viewers a look into her polygamous household, alongside her husband Kody Brown and fellow sister wives Christine, Meri, and Robyn. Following the premiere season of Sister Wives, viewers have gotten to see nearly every element of the Browns' lives, from the ups to the downs, and everything in between.

In 1993, Janelle became joined to Kody in a spiritual union. She grew up Mormon and was interested in being Kody's wife after meeting him through Meri. The Brown family patriarch has 18 kids, six of which are Janelle's: Logan, Madison, Hunter, Robert, Gabriel, and Savanah.

Janelle and Kody have experienced low points in their relationship, to the point where Janelle was even considering leaving the polygamous relationship. However, the two are still together and Janelle has been living a flourishing life. Take a look at a few of the highlights from her Sister Wives journey.

Janelle Found Success In Her Work

Janelle Brown Sister Wives

Janelle got her real estate license with TMI Realty in Las Vegas. As an agent, Janelle loved to show houses to her clients. Due to the number of homes in Vegas, she was able to advertise all kinds of different options. Sister Wives helped Janelle in the business, leading to potential owners putting their trust in her, which she said was the best compliment she could get.

Janelle is also a certified Integrative Nutrition Coach as of 2019. She was trained through the largest nutrition school in the world called Institute for Integrative Nutrition. To her, true health coaching isn’t telling someone what to do and how to do it but instead offering support, accountability, and attentiveness to achieve wellness goals. As a health coach, Janelle's mission is to give her clients the resources they need to feel happy and healthy. Because of her past dealing with her own health problems, she described herself as someone who “gets it,” or someone who can relate to the struggles others may be feeling.

Janelle Found Peace With Her Body

Fans noticed Janelle seemed to be getting slimmer and were curious to know about her weight loss journey. She said she had a friend who had lost 100 pounds, which gave her the courage to pursue a healthier life as well. Previously, she kept fans updated on her exercise routine via her blog, Strive with Janelle, and videos on YouTube titled Janelle Brown’s Weight Loss Diary. She also got help from a professional trainer, who helped her improve her posture and prepare for her workouts.

Janelle also created motivational cards to help her not give up. Through her journey to a smaller weight, some of the quotes she wrote included, “You will have the energy you need to accomplish everything,” and, “You will have more choices.” On her blog, she stated she dieted for years and was consistently unhappy with her body but eventually she came to the realization that she was “enough just as she was.”

Janelle Living In An RV

After the family moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, Kody wanted to build a house for himself, his wives, and their children. The wives were not on board with this idea, and instead, they each bought or rented their own home in the area. The rental home Janelle was living in was sold. Rather than trying to find a new one, she announced in June 2021 that she was setting off on a summer adventure in an RV. She told her Instagram followers that she was both excited and nervous to be embarking on this new voyage. But from her posts, she seems to be having a good time. She has kept her followers updated with RV photos, including the hashtag #rvlife. Janelle’s home on wheels is complete with a luxury kitchenette, living room, and master bedroom, and overall is a total of 429 square feet.
