Janelle Brown from Sister Wives is not one for demanding attention, but on December 7, she shared a touching photo that shined the spotlight on her late mother. Janelle lost her mother almost one year ago and is still going through the grieving process. Fans were touched by her ability to recall such beautiful memories.

Although Janelle can easily stand on her own, fans have enjoyed seeing her relationship with Kody Brown unfold since their marriage is one of the strongest unions. Janelle has always been the wife who was numbers orientated and, frankly, the most down-to-earth. While her Sister Wives co-star often dreamed of grandeur, Janelle planned for real life. The second wife has never asked for much but seems to be the most content in her life as she now has her simple garden and luxury RV. Throughout it all, she always had the support of her mother, who was often featured on the show.

The reality TV star recently took to her Instagram page to share a sweet photo of her daughter, Savanah. Janelle admitted it was a mixed day of emotions since her daughter was not only turning 17 but her late mother also would have had her 77th birthday. Janelle revealed that the day was also the official one-year anniversary since she lost her mother. Savanah sported a watch given to her by her late grandmother, which, as Janelle noted, made her extremely proud as it gave her a sense of calm knowing her mother was close by. The second photo showed Janelle's mother, Sherly Lee Brown, wearing a bright red shirt holding one of the many babies in the Brown family. Check out Janelle's post below:

Sherly had been sick for some time before she passed, but at the time, Janelle shared that no one was ever ready to lose someone they loved. Sister Wives fans will recall that Sheryl was once married to Kody's father, Winn Brown. Sheryl and Janelle both entered the Brown family around the same time. Janelle had a close relationship with her mother as both converted to Apostolic United Brethren to be a part of the polygamous lifestyle. TLC fans loved seeing Sheryl pop in for her visits, which included a fun episode where she and Kody went on a solo shopping trip with all three mothers-in-law.

Sheryl was a nurse and played a big part in helping Janelle acclimate into a plural marriage. The mother and daughter shared a special bond as Sheryl was also the person Janelle stayed with when she first left Kody so many years ago. Janelle is doing her best to live each day to make her mother proud. The post showed just how much she missed her mom, especially with all the issues going on within the family.
