The famed TLC show Sister Wives has been able to share a lot with viewers, including Kody Brown's four wives, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn Brown changing their personalities as they've aged. Each wife has had to figure out a way to stay by Kody's side, and it has not always been easy. Kody is a ball of energy, and it seems that at one time or another, each wife had to make a concerted effort to change who they were at their core to keep up.

Sister Wives viewers have extremely strong opinions about the patriarch Kody, who's even been considered a bad dad, and many criticize how he has treated his four spouses over the years. Fans of the show first met Kody when the large polygamous family was happily living in Utah. The father of 18 had just married his fourth wife, Robyn, and the family seemed to be blending well. After a midnight escape to Las Vegas, the Browns started to fracture, Each wife was burdened with more and more stress, leaving only one option, which was changing themselves and going with the flow rather than being left behind.

Over the years, Kody's wives have definitely changed as they have aged. Janelle, who was once very financially driven, has become less focused on work and her career and turned her attention to living life. The mother of six recently took a trip to Portugal. Janelle revealed that she hadn't been outside the United States since the late 80s. She had decided to be a bit more adventurous, and she was when she decided to purchase a luxury RV. Meri, Kody's first wife, has taken over Janelle's business-oriented role, and is self-sufficient since Kody basically ditched her.

Kody's favorite wife Robyn appears older thanks to her more neurotic side coming out. The worldwide pandemic didn't help to ease Robyn's health concerns, and she was more than happy to hunker down in her home for months at a time. Robyn often comes across as childlike, thanks to her extreme religious beliefs. Sister Wives viewers feel that she has gotten worse over the years when it comes to her "celestial" thinking. As for Kody's ex-wife, Christine, she has totally reinvented herself. The mother of six has moved back to Utah, where she now wears a mile-wide smile every day. She, too, is running her own business and her spirit seems lighter.

There is no denying that the wives have evolved over the years, for better or worse. Sister Wives fans feel that Kody's constant planning and rules made each woman a different person than she was when she married him. It could be argued that change is a good thing, but in retrospect, the wives should never have felt that they needed to tweak themselves for Kody.
