Janelle and Kody Brown's son, Garrison, revealed to Sister Wives fans he adopted a cat over the weekend. The older son is still fighting with his father over the strict COVID-19 rules he implemented. Kody's fondness for staying healthy has left a bitter taste in his son's mouth as the two haven't talked in weeks.

As the fourth eldest child of Janelle and Kody, Garrison remained mostly quiet on the early seasons of Sister Wives. While he seemed down to earth, the recent seasons has shown him sharing his opinions even when he openly disagreed with his father's wishes. Garrison has always been the most creative of Janelle's children as he has shown a love for photography and even owns his own clothing line. In 2015, Garrison enlisted in the Nevada Army National Guard and, ever since, has been working on his career in the military.

Just this weekend, Janelle shared that her son, Garrison, had adopted a friendly feline on her social media. The mother of six revealed that her son, who has been living back in Arizona, called her up out of the blue to fill her in on the good news. While the name of the cat is still to be determined, Garrison is feeling more settled now that he has bought his own home earlier this month and wanted a companion to share it with. The proud cat grandma joked that this was the first official family portrait as she shared the good news with followers. Check out Janelle's post below:

Garrison has been making a lot of big moves as of late. As fans now know, the 23-year-old recently purchased his own home in Flagstaff in order to avoid interacting with Kody. Thanks to his strict COVID-19 rules and lack of quality time spent together, the patriarch has worn out his welcome with most of his children. Garrison's new home is two stories and boasts 1,441 square feet. Even though Kody and Garrison are no longer speaking if they choose to work out their differences, Garrison's new home is only a quick half-hour drive from Kody's. Garrison's new home also has wood flooring, a fireplace, and four bedrooms.

It looks like Janelle may be sticking around Flagstaff for the long hall, especially since some of her older children are choosing to settle down there. The most recent episode of Sister Wives showed Janelle at a crossroads while trying to protect her children from Kody's wrath. The father of 18 stated he wanted his son's kicked out of the family home due to them disobeying his rules. Janelle, instead, put her foot down as she knew Garrison was close to saving up for his own place. Now Garrison can live peacefully with his new roommate.
