While he did have three other wives at one point (Janelle, Christine and Meri Brown), the patriarch couldn't help but fall in love with Robyn, who was much younger, and obeyed him. With a new season about to start, fans are getting ready to call the couple out on any little thing that annoys them.
Sister Wives fans took to Reddit to share their disdain for Kody's recent purchase. U/favoriteddottir noted that the often-criticized Kody and Robyn were the only Browns with "expensive Tag Heuer watches." The follower snapped a photo of the couple sitting on the couch during a confessional, as they sported their matching timepieces. Both watches appeared to be silver, with chain link straps. Viewers questioned whether the other wives' incomes had paid for the luxe accessories. It was also pointed out by u/cheesehotdog that Robyn is the only one without a job, but,"always has the nicest stuff."
Robyn and Kody have always come across as extremely materialistic. Both seem to enjoy the finer things in life, and worry about how other people perceive them. Tag Heuer watches are serious collectors' items for many watch enthusiasts, and some can cost more than $5,000. Kody and Robyn look like they have Carrera editions, which usually retail for around $2,500. There is no doubt in viewers' minds that no other wife has received such a gift.
Sister Wives is set to return on September 11, with tons of fresh drama. In the trailer, Robyn is seen sobbing to Meri about the breakup of their family, and Kody is shown yelling at Christine in front of the other wives. Fans are hoping that this will be the last season of the famed series, since no one wants to watch the Kody and Robyn show.
