Kody Brown's first wife, Meri Brown, announced to Sister Wives fans earlier this week that she would be hosting a getaway retreat at Lizzie's Heritage Inn. Viewers have reservations about whether or not this is a good idea, especially since Meri doesn't have any credentials. However, it could just be a way of bringing in more money for the struggling Brown family.

Meri took to her Instagram with some exciting news about hosting her first-weekend retreat at her bed and breakfast. As fans learned via the Lizzie's Heritage Inn website, the retreat would not be free and is being held in November. According to the website, the Real Life Retreats will offer a chance for participants to explore Southern Utah with Meri, who's not leaving Kody right now, and allow them to stay in the beautiful historic home. The retreat will have an adventure, peer connection, and food. Meri's goal is to share the healing and connective powers of the red rocks that border the inn. The site also claims that the Sister Wives star wants to empower those around her.

What Does Sister Wives Meri Brown's Real-Life Retreat Include?

According to the Lizzie's Heritage Inn website, the retreat will consist of four days and three nights. Meals will be included, along with daily activities from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Each morning there will be a mindfulness exercise, and each night will close out with a fun fire pit. There will even be time to bond with Meri herself. As Sister Wives fans learned, there are two packages to choose from. One can choose the standard package, which will cost $4,500 and includes possibly sharing a room with someone. However, one can go for the VIP package, which will set you back $6,500 but includes more time with Meri, who shares cryptic messages with Sister Wives fans, and "surprises."

Sister Wives viewers had some strong opinions about Meri's new venture. Firstly many were not thrilled that they had to be picked from a group of applicants even to be considered. U/TheChaosDuck shared via Reddit that the extra hangouts were probably when she will be "selling her MLM" items. As many know, Meri works for LuLaRoe and has often defended her job. MLM companies as organizations can increase one's wealth but sometimes at the expense of others' investments.

Overall the consensus among Sister Wives fans is the retreat would not be worth the $6,000. Many followers pointed out that since Meri is still married to Kody, the money she earned from the retreats would go towards funding his and Robyn Brown's lifestyle too. It is safe to say that most viewers of the series wouldn't want one penny to go towards Robyn's hoarding or Angel status. While the Real Life Retreat may be a good idea, in theory, the reality is a fan would be paying an awful lot for nothing.
