With the Sister Wives season 17 premiere right around the corner, Christine Brown is not holding back her thoughts of her ex-husband, Kody Brown, calling him "cowardly" in a preview clip. The two have not seen eye to eye for years, leading the mother of six to leave her marriage. Now fans will see how both navigated the tricky waters of divorce.
As the third wife, Christine was led to believe that she was the last wife Kody would accept into his polygamous family. However, the game changed when Robyn entered the picture. As the youngest wife, Kody seemed smitten with his fourth wife and left the other three in the dust. Christine struggled with jealousy for years but seemed to keep a smile on her face. Kody treated Christine and her feelings with little to no respect in the last few years. The treatment left Christine feeling unwanted.
Thanks to a sneak peek of Sister Wives season 17, courtesy of ET, fans will see Christine telling Kody to "man the f*** up" during a heated conversation because he's being "cowardly." The call-out came on the heels of a conversation where Christine shared she was jealous of Kody and his relationships with his other wives. Kody didn't help himself when he tried to explain his side, saying he didn't understand why Christine was upset, adding, "I don't have time to play like she has time to play. I've got a lot of work to do and a lot of responsibilities." The conversation only worsened as the two Sister Wives stars came face to face. Christine asked why Kody was trying to hold onto her when he was the one that said he wasn't attracted to her any longer. He replied, "You're blaming me for me being turned off by your behavior," leaving Christine speechless for a nanosecond.
In her own confessional, Christine called Kody out for not being honest, noting that after 25 years of marriage, it was insulting for Kody to think he didn't have to be straight up with her. As far as Sister Wives fans can tell, Kody is trying his best to act like the victim. In almost every preview, Kody has been trying to come across as surprised by Christine's choice to leave him. Fans have already seen him yelling at her that he sacrificed a lot to love her and were not impressed with his tantrums.
With the premiere of Sister Wives season 17 right around the corner, viewers are gearing up for an extremely tense few episodes. Kody still has the support of Robyn, who has stood by his side through it all. Christine has moved back to Utah and seems to be happier than ever now that she has left Kody and his manipulating ways behind.
