Sister Wives' Christine Brown gave fans an update on her life after she split from her husband and patriarch Kody Brown, claiming she couldn't be happier. Fans have been wondering whether or not Christine was going to leave the family for quite some time now. Ever since Kody moved the family to Arizona to live together on a huge plot of land, Christine was visibly very unhappy. She wanted to move back to Utah to be closer to both her parents and her older children. Kody and the rest of the wives were not into the idea, and no matter how many times Christine brought up the possibility of moving, she was shut down. Rumors continued to spread once Christine moved to Utah on her own.

After months of speculating whether or not Christine would stay in the marriage, she and Kody announced their separation earlier this month.  They each announced their split on their own Instagram accounts. Kody expressed that he was upset with Christine's decision to end their union, which was never legally binding as Kody was still married to his first wife, Meri Brown, under the law. Their union was only ever on a spiritual level. He went on further to say that they will still remain committed co-parents. In her post, Christine spoke more about the different reasons she had for choosing to end their union, which continued to build throughout their 25 years together. Fan reaction after the announcements suggests they are taking Christine's side.

Christine is now updating fans on what life for her as a single woman looks like, claiming she couldn't be happier right now. As reported by In Touch, Christine revealed in a video she made for Cameo that the decision to get divorced has been brewing for a while. In the video, she claimed she feels like a new and improved version of herself, and that she is much happier as a single woman. She also revealed she never realized that life could be simple. She recalled a conversation she had with her daughter Mykelti recently, in which they both acknowledged how much simpler their lives have become since leaving the family and venturing out on their own.

While the couple is broken up, Christine stated she wants to maintain a positive relationship with Kody and hopes to keep a friendship with him. Keeping a friendly relationship is important to both of them, and Christine claimed they've been doing okay and have had some good days and some bad days. The main reason they want to stay friendly with each other is because they have children together and will have to continue to co-parent for quite a few years. The two have six children together: Aspyn, 26; Mykelti, 25; Paedon, 23; Gwendlyn, 20; Ysabel, 18; and Truely, 11. Christine ended by saying now that she isn't a wife anymore, she can focus on being a mother, a job she claims she is the most passionate about and makes her happier than anything else.

Fans are wondering what Christine's next moves will be now that she has freed herself from the polygamy lifestyle. Many are wondering if she will return to filming Sister Wives now that she is no longer a part of the family. They are also wondering if Christine will enter into another polygamist marriage, considering that is the only way of life she is familiar with. It will be interesting to see what Christine chooses to do with her newfound freedom, and fans can't wait to see what is next for her.
