Since leaving Kody Brown and her fellow Sister Wives co-stars, Christine has been sharing with fans all the reasons she loves being a grandmother. The mother of six is embracing her new role as the matriarch of her own family and destiny. Now, she spends her days with baby Avalon playing and watching her grow.
As Sister Wives fans have now learned, Kody and Christine had some serious marital issues. The marital turbulence between Christine and Kody has not been easy to watch during season 16, especially after years of struggle. The popular TLC show was first introduced in 2010, as viewers learned what really goes on within plural marriage. Christine was Kody's third wife, and instead of being Kody's final wife, the patriarch started to court a younger, fourth wife while Christine was pregnant. Sadly, she never recovered from her disappointment, leading to the ultimate decision to leave her husband of 25 years.
Instead of feeling sorry for herself, Christine is making strides in her new single life. Fans recently saw Christine post a loving ode to her beautiful granddaughter, Avalon. Christine sported her best LuLaRoe outfit in a photo while playing on the floor with her granddaughter. For Christine, she has found it immensely rewarding being able to watch her daughter, Mykelti, blossom into a parent herself. The star sweetly called Avalon her "bundle of love" as fans could see that the former reality star really was enjoying this special time in her life. Check out Christine's post below:
Christine has been giving multiple updates since leaving Kody behind. She has since moved from Arizona and gone back to Utah, where she is now surrounded by her family and friends. Her daughter, Mykelti, has even moved closer so she can support her mother in her time of need. As for Avalon, she looks thrilled to be surrounded by her loving Oma on a daily basis. The toddler has been getting spoiled with new, colorful toys and fun playdates.
As for Christine, she has been working on herself. The matriarch still works as an influencer on her social media to make ends meet. Christine not only works for LuLaRoe but also Kendra Scott and Plexus. But it seems like her full-time job is being a fun and loving grandmother. Even though Christine's role on the show may be up in the air since she is no longer married to Kody, one thing is for sure, Christine takes her new role as Oma very seriously. Sister Wives viewers would love for her to continue to post updates on social media too.
