Kody Brown hasn't had luck striking harmony between him and his four wives on Sister Wives, and his plan to connect the entire family on their Coyote Pass land seems like another failure in the making. Although Kody might have pure intentions by plotting to move his unconventional family to the rural Arizona space, it might backfire. From fans' lack of trust in Kody's ability to pull off the home to his wives enjoying their freedom off of the land, here's why it would be best for the Brown family to abandon their Coyote Pass dream.

Kody and his four wives, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn Brown, have struggled to get on the same page since the beginning of Sister Wives in 2010. Due to their unorthodox plural marriage, the cast members and spouses often find themselves tangled in complicated dynamics of emotional neglect. Kody is criticized for his ability to lead his family and be a good husband, as he prioritizes his marriage with his fourth wife, Robyn, over his first trio of relationships. Although all of Kody's wives would like to spend time with him, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn are often at odds with each other. The best resolution the family reached was the four Sister Wives stars living separately.

Kody hopes to reunite the Brown family on his Coyote Pass land, but this might not be the heartwarming reunion he's hoping for. Since the family moved out of their Las Vegas cul-de-sac and migrated to Flagstaff, Arizona, Kody hasn't made much progress in getting his family settled at Coyote Pass. While many of the Sister Wives stars are apprehensive about moving into adjacent homes on the land, Kody and Janelle remain optimistic. Janelle even had her own summer adventure living in an RV on the plot Kody purchased. Kody recently reaffirmed his enthusiasm for the Coyote Pass home in an Instagram post which was captioned, "Our back yard... Love this place." The other wives aren't as sold as Kody and Janelle, however. Recently, Christine shared that she enjoyed decorating her Flagstaff home. It doesn't seem logical for the wives to leave the houses they've settled into.

It's no secret that Kody isn't the best at following through on his grand plans. Kody is often in over his head and the continued delay of the family's Coyote Pass home is a prime example of the patriarch's poor planning. Fortunately, many of the wives are content in their homes and it would be less trouble and money for the entire family to just scrap Kody's Coyote Pass plan. Although it's good for ratings, when the family gets together on Sister Wives, fireworks are bound to erupt. Kody and Meri are usually at each others' necks but have made progress with some space between them. The best thing for the family is to let go of Kody's Coyote Pass plan and allow all of the sister wives to have their independence. Gathering on one plot of land might rock the Brown family's capsizing-prone boat.

Kody bought their plot of land at Coyote Pass with a noble objective, but the polygamist patriarch's inability to build his wives' homes and their resistance to moving in indicates that it's more trouble than it's worth. Janelle and Kody might be optimistic about living at Coyote Pass, but Christine has already settled into her current home. Additionally, Kody and Meri's relationship has benefited from their time apart. It would be best for all Sister Wives stars to forfeit Kody's Coyote Pass project.
