Aspyn Thompson is the eldest daughter of the Sister Wives family. Although she has spent over a decade in the public eye, we have fascinating facts on Aspyn's life behind the scenes. As the oldest daughter, Aspyn has experienced several momentous life experiences since appearing on her family's reality TV show. From marriage to breaking from her parents' controversial polygamous family structure, here's everything Aspyn has been up to since evading the spotlight.

Aspyn was born on March 14, 1995, and was raised with the rest of her extensive family in Lehi, Utah. At 26 years old, Aspyn is the oldest daughter, but the second oldest of all children next to her older half-brother, Logan. Aspyn is the first of her mother Christine Brown's six children. Christine's five subsequent children are Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truely. Aspyn is her father Kody's second child of eighteen. In 2010, her family became the center of public scrutiny for exhibiting their polygamous lifestyle on reality television. At the age of 17, Aspyn left her swarm of younger siblings for college. In 2013, Aspyn enrolled in the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the same school her older brother Logan began studying at just one year prior.

Much like Meri Brown's bed and breakfast business, Aspyn had a passion for the career she was pursuing at college. Where Logan initially attended UNLV for medicine, Aspyn entered the university with a major in Human Service with a focus on Marriage and Family Counseling. At the same time as she enrolled at the Las Vegas university, Aspyn started her work as a fundraising volunteer at Autism Speaks, where she continues to volunteer today. While attending college, Aspyn took on several extracurricular responsibilities, such as working as a retail sales assistant at Alex And Ani as well as joining a sorority. Aspyn graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2019. After college, Aspyn began working at Kendra Scott, a fashion lifestyle retail store. Currently, Aspyn works as a store manager at a Kendra Scott location in Salt Lake City, Utah.

In addition to education and career, Aspyn has advanced her love life while on hiatus from Sister Wives. Similar to how fans suspect Christine would thrive in monogamous relationships, Aspyn has been in a singular, successful relationship with Mitch Thompson for years. Aspyn first met Mitch as a child in church and had an immediate crush on him. The two rekindled their romance during their college years and were engaged by 2017. Aspyn married Mitch on June 17, 2018, without TLC cameras. Although both Aspyn and Mitch hail from polygamous families, the two are committed to their monogamous relationship. Like her older brother Logan, Aspyn has opted to maintain a low profile since exiting her parents' reality show. Aspyn's Instagram account, @mrsthompson061718, is private, with only 517 followers.

Despite the pressure that comes with being the eldest of 16 siblings, Aspyn has successfully created her own identity separate from her family's. As a monogamist who shies from reality television cameras, Aspyn has strayed from her parents' most infamous attributes. While the future has much to hold for Aspyn, returning to Sister Wives is not in the cards for this Brown daughter.
