The Sinister Six is becoming a single combination villain, as Spider-Man will face off against all six of his rogues in one, as they somehow transform into one. In a new preview for The Amazing Spider-Man #900 from Marvel Comics, Peter Parker runs into the Super-Adaptoid. However, Spider-Man quickly discovers that something much more sinister is at play, as he faces a combination villain with all the powers of his most iconic bad guys.
Spider-Man's upcoming arc at Marvel Comics will see the hero run into the Super-Adaptoid, a villain much more dangerous than his name suggests. Super-Adaptoid has the ability to mimic and copy the powers of heroes and villains, their appearances, and weapons, which has led the android to become a combination Avengers team on multiple occasions. Next, in The Amazing Spider-Man #900, Super-Adaptoid is copying the Sinister Six and merging into a single villain with the greatest powers of Spider-Man's most recognizable foes.
In a brand new preview for The Amazing Spider-Man #6 (#900 in legacy numbering) by Zeb Wells and Ed McGuinness, Spider-Man's investigations lead him directly into the path of the new combination villain. In the issue, someone will have captured the Sinister Six and used them to create a new villain with the powers of each into a single body courtesy of Super-Adaptoid. The new combo villain's appearance features design elements and powers from Electro, Mysterio, Doc Ock, Sandman, Vulture, and Kraven the Hunter. Marvel Comics is teasing the nine-hundredth issue of The Amazing Spider-Man as "one of the biggest adventures" in Spider-History, with an ending that will shock readers. It's also an appropriate time to debut the Sinister Six Super-Adaptoid combination villain, as it combines his greatest foes ahead of Spider-Man's 60th Anniversary celebrations in August. The web-slingers upcoming battle is quite a precursor to the celebratory event, where some of the industry's most iconic writers and artists, including Neil Gaiman, Jonathan Hickman, Jim Cheung, Dan Slott, and Kurt Busiek, will contribute to Amazing Fantasy #1000.
Considering the Sinister Six combination villain has the powers of the iconic Spider-Man foes, stopping the new threat will be a difficult challenge for the hero. Marvel's web-slinger has fought the Sinister Six many times, but he's never faced them like this.
