Most fans remember Chase Rice from when he performed on an episode of The Bachelor, but many forget he once appeared on Survivor as well.

Chase found far-reaching fame when he began his career as a country singer and songwriter. In 2019, Chase's career in music began to skyrocket when he came out with his single, "Eyes On You," which was followed by his smash hit, "Lonely If You Are." Since The Bachelor is known for bringing up-and-coming country stars on to the show to perform, Chase seemed like the perfect fit.

During Peter Weber's season, Peter and contestant Victoria Fuller went on a one-on-one date that featured a performance by Chase Rice. For fans who are unfamiliar with last season, Victoria and Chase dated in the past. Although Chase was excited about the opportunity to sing on the show, he didn’t know he would come face-to-face with a former ex and her new man, as reported People.  “I didn’t know any of that was going to happen,” the 35 year old said during an interview with SiriusXM’s The Highway. “I don’t want to be a part of that, you know? That’s not why — I’m going on there to promote [my music].” When Chase was asked about his past relationship with Victoria, he simply said, “I’ve known her for a little while now.” When he was promoting his new album at the time, Chase revealed all the songs were written about his ex-girlfriend and confirmed they were not about Victoria.

Chase Rice

Before his stint on The Bachelor, Chase competed on the popular reality competition series, Survivor: Nicaragua. Back in 2010, Chase was a contestant on the show and competed on the La Flor tribe. He was only 24 years old at the time and ended the competition as the runner-up of the season to Jud “Fabio” Birza. According to Life & Style Magazine, the singer was working for NASCAR as a jackman and thought the chance to be on the show was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. He made it all the way to the final three by using sneaky tactics and forming alliances with others on the island. He lost after the jury felt Fabio was a better player.

Nonetheless, appearing on the show helped Chase's career as a singer. It helped him prove to others that he can pursue his dreams and succeed. Perhaps more reality TV appearances are waiting in his future, but fans will just have to wait and see where Chase's career takes him next.
