Kelsey Owens is heading to Miami to start filming with her co-stars for Siesta Key season 5. While season 4b was airing, many of the show's stars began moving from their hometown to Miami, causing fans to believe the show was switching locations. At this point, it seems obvious the reality series has moved to the Florida city as all the main cast members are there, and fans have even spotted the cast filming in Miami. Unfortunately, not everyone from the original cast has joined stars like Juliette Porter and Sam Logan in Miami. Garrett Miller announced after the season 4b finale that he would no longer be appearing on Siesta Key.
Camilla Cataneo also exited that show, and Kelsey recently announced that producers told her she would not be needed for Siesta Key season 5 until later on. While the show was once spitting out dramatic storylines one after the other, as the castmates have grown, some have had less to offer. Garrett is more focused on his relationship with Kenna Quesenberry and his fitness career than fighting with his friends on a television show. Kelsey has also settled down with her boyfriend, Max Strong, and has no interest in fighting over boys with Juliette like she once did.
Luckily, Kelsey hasn't been completely written off the show as she shared that she's finally headed to Miami. Kelsey shared a post on her Instagram Story of her in her car with the caption, "Next Stop Miami." The star posed with her dog and added a sticker that said, "Girls Trip," to express her enthusiasm for the ride to Miami. While her boyfriend, Max, was absent from the photo, it's likely he will be joining her. Last season, the two had some disagreements about their future, like where they want to live and when they should move in together. According to their Instagram accounts, they're still going strong and seem to have overcome their relationship issues.
Kelsey will be joining her friends Cara Geswelli, Jordana Barnes and Chloe Long in Miami. Unfortunately, the star never patched up her friendship with Juliette, and the two will likely avoid each other while filming Siesta Key as usual. Madisson Hausberg has not suggested she has left the show but has also shown no signs of filming with her co-stars. However, she did reveal a few months ago that she was moving from Los Angelos back to Florida. The reality star is still healing from her stillbirth in December and continues to raise awareness for pregnancy loss on social media.
Fans of Kelsey will be happy to hear that the star is ready to start filming again. It's unclear why MTV chose not to include her at the start of the season, but hopefully, she brings her A-game if she wants to keep being invited back for more seasons. It makes it extra difficult that she doesn't get along with Siesta Key's main star Juliette, but luckily, she has Cara, Jordana and Max on her side. Maybe the new Siesta Key season will give fans an update on where the two stand on their relationship drama from season 4b.
