Siesta Key has been teasing the downfall of Juliette Porter and Sam Logan's relationship in the teasers for their new season, and Juliette has now revealed why they broke up. In August, fans began speculating that the pair had gone their separate ways when Sam was seen partying with other girls on social media. The star soon confirmed that he and Juliette were no longer together, but it remained a mystery as to what went wrong. On the MTV reality series, Juliette and Sam were inseparable. During the season premiere on March 10, it was clear Juliette and Sam were headed for a split as the show's star planned to move out into her own apartment. Juliette, who launched her bathing suit company last season, was growing tired of Sam's partying lifestyle and wanted to focus on herself and her business instead of putting all her energy into him.
However, there was a lot more going on besides Juliette's need to focus on her career. The star revealed to E! News exactly what went down between her and Sam and why she doesn't see him changing anytime soon. According to the Siesta Key star, Sam "was never a mature person" and also was not being very supportive of her and what she wanted from her life."Sam's the type of person that has never changed and probably never will," Juliette added. She explained that her ex has been the same since he was 18, and while he has a lot of growing up to do, it's unlikely it will happen anytime soon. Luckily for fans, the new Siesta Key season will showcase precisely what went down between Juliette and Sam.
The JMP The Label founder also offered some advice to any other young woman who may be in a similar situation. She advised them to focus on themselves, their goals, and their values. According to the trailer for the new season, Juliette does just this as she flies off to Paris after calling it quits with Sam. It's unclear whether or not she'll be out of the country for long, but it appears she does indeed move on from her ex as she's now dating realtor Clark Drum, whom she was spotted with at costar Madisson Hausburg's wedding in October. The two also attended castmate Chloe Trautman's wedding together, and Juliette says she is "at peace" in the relationship.
Juliette and Sam's unamicable split may come as a surprise to fans who followed the couple on the show and assumed they were very happy together. The star often bragged about dating a billionaire, and Sam even took her and her friends to a private island during the previous season of Siesta Key.
