Amanda Miller and Chloe Long got into a messy fight in the latest Siesta Key: Miami Moves episode, but fans are on Amanda's side. Everything started when Chloe noticed Amanda Miller was wearing Sam Logan's t-shirt, and Amanda admitted to staying over at his house. Chloe has been adamant all season about how toxic she thinks Sam and his environment are. She is especially annoyed with Amanda because Sam is Juliette's ex-boyfriend, and Chloe feels spending too much time with him is disrespectful to Juliette. Things worsened in the new episode leading to Chloe telling Amanda to move out of their apartment.While Chloe was only trying to defend Juliette, Siesta Key fans think she was in the wrong and have Amanda's back. Twitter user @dramabananna called Chloe "literally the worst friend you can end up with," explaining that Chloe always gets in the way of Juliette's friendships, including her friendship with Kelsey Owens. The fan then accused Chloe of thinking she's better than Amanda because she's married, something Amanda also accused her of in the episode. Also, the Siesta Key fan suggested that Chloe thinks she and Juliette are better than Amanda because they run their own businesses, while Amanda spent the summer not working and having fun.
Siesta Key Fans Think Chloe Contradicts Her Beliefs
Siesta Key fan @keywestwitch999 on Twitter cheered on Amanda during the fight scene with her and Chloe. "Go Amanda!!" the fan wrote. "I guess Chloe's metaphysical "guru" outlook the last 2 seasons was a farce (shocker)." Many fans have criticized Chloe for saying she's spiritual but then behaving in ways that contradict her spiritual beliefs. The fan also took Sam's side over Juliette's. Other fans called Chloe judgmental of Amanda, saying she should leave her alone and let her enjoy her summer. According to their Instagram accounts, Chloe, Amanda, and Juliette have been on good terms since filming ended.
It's no surprise fans took Amanda's side in the argument. They've had issues with Chloe and her behavior since the show's premiere. Chloe has been starting problems with people since season one, and while she's gotten better since her spiritual awakening, she still thrives off of drama. Chloe loves getting involved in other people's problems and making things worse than they need to be. She even spoke negatively about Jordana Barnes behind her back, which she found out about and was understandably upset.
However, this one time, Chloe might not be completely wrong. While Amanda shouldn't have to end her friendship with Sam because of his and Juliette's breakup, she should also know when to set boundaries. It's not appropriate to be wearing your best friend's ex-boyfriend's shirt or flirting with him in front of Juliette like she did in the recent episode. While Chloe may have come across as disrespectful, she was only looking out for Juliette. Unfortunately, Siesta Key fans didn't see things this way and think Amanda has every right to be angry with Chloe.
