Warning: Contains SPOILERS for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 8 finally featured Daredevil’s long-awaited cameo. The episode began with Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) taking on amateur-hero Leapfrog (Brandon Stanley) as a client, after his supposedly inflammable suit caught fire. He claimed it was a manufacturer’s defect and, unfortunately for Jen, the manufacturer happened to be her own super-suit designer Luke Jacobson (Griffin Matthews), who blacklisted her when she questioned him about the defect. The case went to court, where Luke’s lawyer turned out to be none other than Matthew Murdock (Charlie Cox), Daredevil himself. In addition to easily winning the case, Matt interestingly shared that the Sokovia Accords were repealed, effectively concluding the MCU’s Civil War.

Later, episode 8 finally featured a She-Hulk costume reveal, when Jen suited up to help Leapfrog, now claiming to be under attack. Upon meeting up with Leapfrog, she encountered Daredevil; the two faced off, and after gaining the upper hand, Jen unmasked the vigilante, learning his true identity. Matt explained that Leapfrog had kidnapped Luke and was holding him hostage, so, after a quip about Daredevil’s “ketchup and mustard” colored suit, the two ventured to Leapfrog’s lair and successfully rescued Luke, who showed his appreciation by taking Jen back as a client.

After their win, Jen and Matt – who exhibited clear chemistry throughout the episode – went back to Jen’s to hookup. She-Hulk episode 8 seemingly ended with a hilarious shot of super-suit-clad Daredevil’s walk-of-shame the following morning, but it strangely continued when Jen broke the fourth wall and acknowledged a twist was coming ahead of the series finale. In the episode's last few minutes, Jen attended a gala to accept the “Female Lawyer of the Year” award. Unfortunately, villain organization Intelligencia hijacked the event, slut-shaming Jen on a screen behind the stage. For the first time, Jen lost control and turned into an uncontrolled, savage version of She-Hulk. With a penultimate episode that was nothing short of exciting, She-Hulk episode 9, the finale, is sure to exceed expectations when it airs on Disney+.
