Warning: This post contains SPOILERS for She-Hulk Episode 7In She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, the HulkKing is posing a major issue for She-Hulk, and his best reveal was set up on She-Hulk's dating montage back in episode 4. One of the dates that She-Hulk went on was with a peculiar man named Todd who was later seen as a client with her law firm, GLK&H. While the date appeared to be nothing other than a letdown for She-Hulk, Todd's dialogue showed hints that he may be HulkKing.

It was shown in She-Hulk episode 6 that the HulkKing is a part of the Intelligencia and is after She-Hulk's blood. Before She-Hulk's little dating spree in episode 4, she was attacked at the end of episode 3 by a group of four men who attempted to penetrate her skin. The needle they used bent on impact and was ultimately useless against She-Hulk. In episode 4, Todd seemed to have a lot of interest in She-Hulk's powers, and it definitely wasn't just for conversation.

On their date, Todd admitted that he was a fan of She-Hulk before matching with her. He continued to ask her about her powers and if she had impenetrable skin. She-Hulk answered to the best of her knowledge and mentioned that her skin is in fact impenetrable, at least from anything found on Earth. Todd countered her response by asking if that meant Vibranium as well, and She-Hulk jokingly said, "Why? Do you have some on you? You want to test it out?" Todd responded by saying that he wished he had Vibranium and went on to admire how powerful she is and even called her a specimen. That isn't something that one would say on a date in order to go on another, which leads to the notion that Todd had a different motive on that date with She-Hulk. His creepy and rather personal questions made a brilliant setup for him as the HulkKing.

Why HulkKing Wants She-Hulk's Blood

HulkKing Plan

There are many possibilities why the HulkKing wants She-Hulk's blood. One could be that HulkKing wants to find a way to kill She-Hulk as Hulks are hard to get rid of. Another could be that he wants to become a Hulk himself and use those powers for whatever evil schemes he has planned. It's possible that the HulkKing leads to the MCU's introduction of a new Hulk. The gamma-radiated blood holds so much power that no matter what the reason is for HulkKing wanting it, it can't be good for She-Hulk.

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law is slowly moving the HulkKing plot forward as it was revealed at the end of episode 7 that Josh obtained She-Hulk's blood. Todd's fascination with She-Hulk's powers in episode 4 gave subtle hints that there's more to him than he lets on. Their date created a great setup for him to be revealed as the HulkKing later on, and more information about the character should come to light towards the end of the series.
