She-Hulk: Attorney at Law costume illustrator Wesley Burt reveals an obscure Marvel villain that was cut from the show. Premiered this past August on Disney+ and wrapped up in October, season 1 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series introduced Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, a lawyer whose blood is accidentally cross-contaminated with her cousin's, Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), and turns into the towering green superhero known as She-Hulk. As a result, Jennifer begins specializing in cases involving superhumans.

Due to its case-of-the-week format, She-Hulk featured appearances from a few well-known MCU characters, such as Emil Blonsky/Abomination (Tim Roth), Sorcerer Supreme Wong (Benedict Wong), and Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox). Throughout the legal comedy, Jennifer also crosses paths with a few obscure characters which were plucked from the pages of Marvel comics, such as The Wrecking Crew, Mr. Immortal, El Aguila, Man-Bull, Porcupine, Saracen, and Leap-Frog. However, there were a few more obscure Marvel comics characters that were considered for She-Hulk, but didn't end up making the cut.

She-Hulk Was The Perfect Show To Introduce Minor Characters

She-Hulk Marvel Villain Leap-Frog

In Marvel comics, Bushwacker's real name is Carl Burbank, a former Catholic priest who abandons how his vows to join the C.I.A. and is outfitted with a cybernetic arm and becomes an assassin under the silly codename. Bushwacker primarily acts as a villain for Daredevil, though he has also crossed paths with Wolverine and the Punisher. Interestingly enough, Bushwacker wasn't the only Daredevil villain who didn't make the cut for the latest MCU show. She-Hulk writer Zeb Wells revealed Stilt-Man was also almost introduced in the show.

Due to its format and irreverent tone, She-Hulk was the perfect MCU show to include these types of minor characters. Bushwacker and Stilt-Man, for instance, are primarily Daredevil villains, though they probably wouldn't have made the cut for the upcoming MCU Daredevil: Born Again series. They didn't end up making the cut for She-Hulk either, since the show was already chock-full of obscure Marvel characters. It's nice to know Bushwacker was considered though, and maybe Marvel will keep the villain in their back pocket for a possible She-Hulk: Attorney at Law season 2 or another appropriate project.
