The trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law just flipped Iron Man's worst Avengers: Age of Ultron joke in the best way possible. Jennifer Walters is set to make her Disney+ debut in August 2022, with the recent She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer granting a first look at Tatiana Masiany's new MCU character. Yet beyond the eye-catching cameos and Walters' controversial Hulk form, the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer also managed to reclaim the idea that Marvel's so-called "monsters" can also have sexual appetites in the MCU.

The infamous "hide the zucchini" joke uttered by Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) in Avengers: Age of Ultron was undoubtedly one for the adults in the room. At the movie's start, Natasha Romanov (Scarlett Johansson) can be seen trying to calm down Bruce Banner, aka the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), following the opening fight scene. When Tony realizes the two are missing, he says: "Romanov, Banner, please tell me you guys aren't playing hide the zucchini!" Tony Stark's innuendos have always been a significant part of his character, but this joke, in particular, is relatively tasteless. Natasha and Bruce's romance never seemed to receive the justice it deserved, despite Natasha being the only person who could calm down the Hulk.

Up until Avengers: Endgame, it's always been implied that the Hulk is a part of Bruce that he should be ashamed of. Yet the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer highlights Jennifer's independence as She-Hulk through her dating life. In a short, 14-second sequence at the end of the trailer, Jennifer is seen in She-Hulk form swiping her way through Bumble before enjoying a date in a restaurant. Unlike her cousin Bruce Banner, Jennifer has no issues dating in her She-Hulk form. In fact, those around her do not seem unnerved by her at all - and instead embrace her for who she is. The date then concludes with She-Hulk carrying her lover like a newly-wed bride to the bedroom, with the man clearly unthreatened by her dominant nature. It's refreshing to see Jennifer embrace She-Hulk in this manner, allowing her alternate form to make her a more powerful, intriguing, and confident version of herself. After years of seeing Bruce feel alienated by the Hulk, unable to forge a successful romantic relationship for himself, seeing She-Hulk reclaim the idea that monsters can't have sex lives should serve as a significant turning point for both characters. Perhaps it may even be possible that Bruce may even get to explore this part of himself down the line, with Smart Hulk confirmed to appear in the show despite Bruce seemingly back in human form in the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings post-credits scene.

Mark Ruffalo as Hulk in Avengers

However, despite She-Hulk's refreshing confidence in the new She-Hulk teaser, her character's look has still received a mixed response to date. Among humourous jokes about the CGI quality in the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer lay valid critiques on her character's design, with complaints surrounding her lack of muscles and slender frame compared to her Marvel comics counterpart. Whether Marvel Studios decides to alter Walters' final aesthetic ahead of the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premiere remains to be seen, but, for now, her character has already reclaimed one of the most tasteless Tony Stark jokes in the MCU.
