Warning: This post contains SPOILERS for She-Hulk episode 3!She-Hulk: Attorney at Law actor Tim Roth, who plays Emil Blonsky in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, stresses that fans should not be ready to fully trust Abomination regardless of the character's newest development. Disney+ is continuing to work with Marvel Studios in expanding the larger MCU through new original shows. Since the end of the Infinity Saga, the MCU has been on a roll fleshing out some of their veteran characters while also introducing additional heroes and villains from the comics.

With Phase 4 set to close out this year, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is the latest Marvel Studios original series from Disney+, introducing Jennifer Walters to the MCU. Starring Tatiana Maslany, the show revolves around Jen's life changing forever after her blood comes into contact with her coisin's, Bruce Banner. Gaining the same condition and powers as the popular Avenger, Jennifer now lives both as an attorney and a reluctant superhero. But as much as it follows She-Hulk, the Disney+ drama has also put a new focus on the Hulk villain Abomination, played by Tim Roth.

Throughout She-Hulk: Attorney at Law season 1 so far, the series has been exploring a new side to Emil after the events of The Incredible Hulk. However, Roth is giving a heads-up to fans not to trust the Marvel baddie so easily. In an exclusive interview with Screen Rant, Roth spoke about his character's new chapter. The British actor stressed that if anyone thinks Abomination is someone that people should start trusting to think again.

"What I loved was—and I encouraged it, and I hope this is there—dancing on a knife's edge. When he says something about his changes or treatment; when he's doing all of that... Is he though? And they believe him! So, that's good. But where do we go with that? I love having that in the character. If you have mastered the monster, which he claims he has, then he has it under control. But control to do what? Control of what and to what end? And that's the journey. It's such fun."

Abomination fighting Wong in Shang-Chi

Other than his brief cameo in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the MCU hasn't properly featured Abomination since The Incredible Hulk. In episode 3 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, titled "The People vs. Emil Blonsky," Roth's character made the case that he is not the same man as before. Throughout the episode, Emil explained that he didn't break out of prison but rather was kidnaped by Wong, who confirmed that after their fight, he was asked to be returned to his cell. Only time will tell throughout She-Hulk: Attorney at Law season 1 if Emil is telling the truth or if there is a larger scheme going on.

Roth makes a good point that just because he has Abomination under control, it doesn't make him more trustworthy. So many years have passed since fans saw him in the MCU beyond a cameo, meaning it's hard to tell if Emil is being legitimate or if he is actually just trying to put on a good act for a larger agenda. Abomination is one of the MCU's most powerful characters, but it also makes him one of the more dangerous players. If She-Hulk: Attorney at Law reveals that he was lying this whole time and he gets away with it, that could set him up for a more crucial storyline in future MCU films. With several episodes left to go, it won't be long until viewers know for sure what is going on with Abomination. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law releases new episodes every Thursday only on Disney+.
