Tatiana Maslany becomes a buff Jennifer Walters in this new piece of She-Hulk fan art. She-Hulk was announced as one of the many in-development Marvel Disney+ shows at the D23 conference last year, and since then, fans have been abuzz with excitement about seeing Jennifer's story get brought into the MCU. Rick and Morty writer Jessica Gao is in charge of the scripts, while Dead to Me alum Kat Coiro will be on hand to direct. Aside from that, little is known about She-Hulk, though its biggest announcement thus far came just last week.

Emmy winner Maslany was cast as She-Hulk's lead, Bruce Banner's cousin Jennifer. Best known for her many, many roles on Orphan Black, Maslany will now be counted among the heroes introduced in the MCU's Phase 4. Production was originally expected to begin this summer, but the COVID-19 pandemic has no doubt delayed that. As a result, it remains to be seen if She-Hulk will actually premiere in 2021 as planned. In the meantime, the news that Maslany will be the lead has reignited fans' excitement for the show.

Talented fan artist Bosslogic has envisioned Maslany's She-Hulk look with the aid of Amir Anbarestani. As is expected of a character named She-Hulk, Maslany's been given some truly impressive muscles. Based on this look alone, Maslany is very ready to join the MCU. Check out the piece down below.

For months, Alison Brie was often named as the top pick for She-Hulk, so Maslany's casting came as a bit of a surprise. However, fans were quick to rally around the decision. Maslany's performance in Orphan Black has helped her develop an impressive fan following, and she's already gained the support of fellow Marvel stars like Simu Liu and Mark Ruffalo, who could make an appearance on She-Hulk as Bruce. From the sheer amount of fan art that has accumulated alone, it's clear the majority of MCU fans will be happy to welcome her into the franchise.

Now that the MCU's She-Hulk has been cast, fans will be eagerly awaiting the names of who will star in the other Disney+ shows Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight. That Maslany was announced first indicates She-Hulk will likely arrive before those two shows, even despite all the changes Marvel's Disney+ slate has sustained in recent weeks. While fan art can't compare to seeing Maslany in costume in real-life, it's certainly enough to rouse excitement and interest. One thing is clear: Maslany will make an excellent Jennifer Walters.
