She-Hulk: Attorney At Law director and executive producer, Kat Coiro, recently teased details about Daredevil's return to the MCU. The upcoming Phase Four television series centers on Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany), a lawyer hired to defend super-humans. After inadvertently having Bruce Banner's (Mark Ruffalo) blood contaminated with hers, Walters transforms into a towering powerful green version of herself. A recent trailer She-Hulk: Attorney At Law revealed an appearance by Daredevil (Charlie Cox), complete with a new costume.

Other than the return of both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as their versions of the web-slinger in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Cox's cameo as the Hell's Kitchen defense attorney, Matt Murdock/Daredevil, shocked many as that reveal was largely kept a secret prior to the film's release. Although incredibly brief, his cameo was an exciting development, putting the fan-favorite back into the spotlight after his show was canceled on Netflix following Daredevil season 3. With Daredevil's return in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, as well as the recent announcement that Cox will reprise his role in a new series, Daredevil: Born Again, fans have been speculating as to how the hero will be integrated into MCU mainstream.

In a recent interview with EW, Coiro shared details about Daredevil's return to the MCU in Marvel's upcoming Disney+ television series, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. The director admitted that she was ecstatic about Daredevil's trailer reveal as she struggled to keep that secret. She called the character's inclusion obvious as the series centers around the legal work within the MCU. However, Coiro teased that Daredevil will be a "crowd favorite" but withheld any specifics regarding his return. Read what the director said below.

"Can I tell you how excited I was when the audience was able to see that and I realized that I did not have to keep that secret anymore? Yes, Daredevil is in the show. I mean, how can you have a legal comedy and not have Daredevil come into it?"

"They match each other's wits, is what I can say. I am definitely excited for Daredevil to make his appearance, because I think he's going to be a crowd favorite. But I can't tell you anything else about that. The Marvel police is a real thing and I don't want to get arrested by them."

New Daredevil Suit She-Hulk Trailer

With Coiro's excitement over Daredevil's return palpable, the character may play a rather significant role within She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. In the original Daredevil series, Murdock proved to be as formidable a lawyer as he was a vigilante. Matching "wits" with Walters in the courtroom, as well as possibly teaming up with her outside of the courtroom, will undoubtedly be a sight to see.

With details of how Murdock will be included into the upcoming series yet to be revealed, this leaves only speculation as to how the hero will be integrated into the show's storyline or whether She-Hulk: Attorney At Law will lead directly into the Daredevil's reboot series. With Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin also included in the new Daredevil series, it may be possible that he will be included in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law as well. Barring any updates from the cast and crew, audiences will have to be patient for Daredevil's long-awaited return when She-Hulk: Attorney At Law debuts on Disney+ August 17.
