She-Hulk has cast Josh Segarra in a mystery role. Now that Loki has aired its season 1 finale, attention is turning to Marvel Studios' first animated series, What If…? After that, Marvel has two live-action series lined up to hit Disney+ later this year in Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel. The lineup for next year is perhaps even more jam-packed with She-Hulk being one of two anticipated series part of the early 2022 slate alongside Oscar Issac’s Moon Knight.

Copyright issues have prevented Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk from getting his own solo MCU film after 2008’s Incredible Hulk starring Edward Norton. However, Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters is getting her own series, She-Hulk, in which Ruffalo will be reprising his role alongside Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/Abomination following his appearance in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The series will follow Jennifer, a lawyer played by Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany, who receives an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce and subsequently gains similar powers. The cast for the Marvel show has been exponentially growing and now another name has been added to the list.

According to The Wrap, She-Hulk has cast Josh Segarra in an unknown role. Segarra is best known for his role in The CW series Arrow, in which he plays the villain Adrian Chase/Prometheus. Segarra’s television credits also include Orange Is the New Black and the comedy Sirens. He can be seen next in season 2 of the comedy The Other Two coming to HBO Max on August 26.

Segarra rounds out a cast that already includes The Good Place’s Jameela Jamil, who is rumored to be playing the main villain Titania, Ginger Gonzaga as Jennifer's best friend, and Hamilton star Renée Elise Goldsberry as Amelia. Considering Segarra’s villainous role on Arrow, one could speculate he’s been tapped in a similar role, but She-Hulk doesn’t seem to have room for any more antagonists with Abomination and Titania already confirmed to appear.

Created by Rick and Morty alum Jessica Gao, She-Hulk is expected to be a slight departure from the MCU’s previous shows, as it is a blend of legal drama, comedy, and traditional superhero action. Reports also indicate the lead character Jennifer will break the fourth wall throughout the show à la Deadpool. She-Hulk has assembled an interesting and diverse cast of talents, but without many leaks from the set, much is still unknown about Segarra and others’ roles.
