Warning: This post contains SPOILERS for She-Hulk episode 1!A mysterious spaceship causes a car crash in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law episode 1, and it has big implications for the future. The key focus of She-Hulk's first episode is on explaining Jennifer Walters' origin and how she became the Marvel Cinematic Universe's newest superhero. While most of the attention is on what happens to her after she's exposed to Bruce Banner's blood, the series of events that leads to this life-changing moment is quite surprising. This is because She-Hulk episode 1 includes a spaceship that causes Jennifer and Bruce to get into a car crash.

She-Hulk's origin story begins as she and her cousin are on a road trip. Some of the topics discussed by the relatives include how Bruce has managed to return to human form after becoming Smart Hulk and whether Steve Rogers was a virgin. These fun conversations and eating Cheetos with chopsticks distract Jennifer from paying attention to the road, causing her to miss the sudden arrival of a spaceship. The car crash that ensues from Jen swerving out of the way is how she becomes She-Hulk, but it still leaves her with questions about that spaceship that caused the crash.

The She-Hulk episode 1 spaceship is confirmed to be a Sakaaran Class-Eight courier craft. Viewers might recognize the ship's design from some spaceships seen on Sakaar in Thor: Ragnarok. Smart Hulk confirms the identity of the ship and tells Jennifer that it means someone is trying to deliver him a message. Bruce is in the dark about who it could be from or what message the Sakaaran spaceship could be carrying. She-Hulk episode 1 does not confirm either piece of information, but the appearance of the spaceship could have major ripple effects for the MCU beyond helping create She-Hulk.

She-Hulk's Spaceship Sets Up Hulk's Son (& World War Hulk?)

A Sakaaran spaceship looking for Hulk on Earth heavily points to the MCU being on the precipice of introducing his son, Skaar. The MCU barely explored what Hulk's life on Sakaar was really like when he became Grandmaster's Champion. However, it is quite likely that it could mirror the comics and mean falling in love with one of the planet's other inhabitants. The comics had Hulk fall for Caiera and secretly father a son named Skaar. It was only after Caiera died and Hulk left Sakaar to fight the Avengers that Skaar came to meet his father. It is plausible that She-Hulk's spaceship is meant to deliver a message that Hulk has a son back on Sakaar.

The potential appearance of Skaar in She-Hulk could be part of Marvel's tease for a World War Hulk movie. The film has been rumored for the last year, but Marvel Studios did not officially announce it - perhaps to avoid spoiling the new Disney+ show. However, if Hulk goes to Sakaar to meet Skaar or learns that his son is coming to Earth, it would be another step in the direction of a World War Hulk story. With She-Hulk: Attorney At Law episode 1 dropping this tease, it should be expected that the spaceship will play a bigger role in the series going forward.

New episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law release on Thursdays on Disney+.
