Content Warning: The following article contains spoilers for the Disney+ show She-Hulk.

The ongoing Disney+ series, She-Hulk, depicts the origin story and adventures of the titular attorney at law, Jennifer Walters. She’s unsurprisingly an endearing character with likable allies like her cousin Bruce Banner and best friend Nikki Walters.

The most likable characters in the series so far help the protagonist cope with her newfound powers, with some defending her against the media backlash and supporting her at work. It’s easy to identify the annoying individuals in the show, too, which include Jen’s arrogant colleagues and some minor villains.

Holden Holliway

After Jen loses her job because of her newfound powers, her storyline in She-Hulk takes a seemingly positive turn when GLK&H partner Holden Holliway offers her a new position. On her first day, she learns that he wants her to be the face of their new Superhuman Law Division, and he gives her no choice about appearing in her Hulk form when she’s doing her job.

He maintains this superior and arrogant attitude when Jen initially refuses to take on Emil Blonsky’s case, telling her she either accepts it or resigns from the firm. He knows no one else wants the publicity that comes with hiring Jen, so he takes advantage of that. This makes him an unlikeable character with no redeeming qualities.

Titania

It’s exciting to see Titania appear on She-Hulk, as fans know that she’ll become a thorn in Jen’s side. The minor villain hasn’t done anything too destructive so far, aside from endangering people in a courtroom and trademarking Jen’s superhero name.

Viewers still don’t know much about her except for her villainous yet small actions on the show. These make her unlikable, but she’ll likely outdo herself before the first season is over. Titania is just getting started, and she has the potential to be the most frustrating character to watch in the series.

Runa

Runa She-Hulk

The Light Elf Runa is a minor antagonist who makes life difficult for Jen’s annoying former colleague, Dennis Bukowski. Dennis foolishly believed he was actually dating Megan Thee Stallion and seeks to sue Runa for fraud, with Jen and Pug’s help, of course.

Runa is both irritating and hilarious, as despite being an elderly character from New Asgard, she acts like a petulant child. It’s funny to see her enrage Dennis, but some of her actions (like impersonating a judge) are just cringe-worthy. Thor would probably not be proud of what she’s been up to and neither are audiences.

Augustus "Pug" Pugliese

Despite his small role on the show, Pug has managed to stand out by being an amiable and smart character. On Jen and Nikki’s first day, he brings them a thoughtful gift in the form of a “welcome basket,” which has snacks, office supplies, and, most importantly, “a map to the best bathroom for pooping.”

While this action establishes him as a friendly and humorous character in the office, it’ll take more than a few more scenes highlighting his personality to really make him likable and memorable. Fans will hopefully see more of him in future episodes.

Emil Blonsky (Abomination)

Emil Blonsky in prison in She-Hulk Attorney at Law

The villain known as the Abomination has seemingly become rehabilitated and has embraced his personality as Emil Blonsky in an attempt to convince a doubtful parole board. His rebranding doesn’t get rid of the doubt those around him understandably have, not to mention how ridiculous his new persona can often be.

That said, Emil has put in the work and positively influenced those around him, with witnesses testifying how he has affected his fellow inmates in a good way. Only time will tell if Emil really will stay out of the news after his release, but for now, it’s alright to be on the fence about the confusing character.

Madisynn

The recently introduced hilarious character Madisynn is someone who loves to party, so much so that she’s not too bothered when magician Donny Blaze accidentally sends her to another dimension. Madisynn is not the brightest person in the room, but it’s hard not to like her because of how comical she can be.

Wong is understandably unable to resist her invitations to get froyo or watch shows on Netflix, even if she keeps spoiling them for him. Madisynn is a silly friend that anyone would want to have, even if she doesn’t make the best choices at times.

Nikki Ramos

One of the best relationships in She-Hulk is the friendship between Nikki and Jen. It’s telling that Jen’s only demand from Holden before moving to his firm is that she gets to pick her paralegal (Nikki). The two of them are inseparable and Nikki is among the first to learn about Jen’s new powers.

Nikki is witty, supportive, and always tries to help Jen see the positive side of things. She’s also pushing Jen to try new activities (like Matcher), as she knows her friend just needs a little nudge sometimes. Nikki is dependable and intuitive, which are likable qualities that any good friend should have.

Hulk (Bruce Banner)

Before Jen can become the powerful She-Hulk, she works with her cousin Bruce to learn everything she needs to control her abilities. Bruce’s heart is in the right place, as he wants the best for Jen and tries to make the process much easier for her compared to how it was for him.

Even before the show, Bruce has already established himself as a likable character, but his actions in the series have reminded viewers why he’s a fan favorite. Bruce is quick to acknowledge and apologize for his mistakes, not to mention how supportive he is always of Jen’s personal growth and career.

Wong

She-Hulk Wong

At one point, Jen breaks the fourth wall to talk about how any appearance by Wong on the show gives it “Twitter armor” for a few days after that episode. This statement speaks volumes about the fan-favorite character’s effect on viewers, as the Sorcerer Supreme is his usual funny but powerful self in the series.

Wong has recently teamed up with Jen to beat the demons that the dim-witted Donny invited into the world. It’s entertaining to see the two of them work together, but even more exciting to see what Wong is up to during his free time. Thanks to Madisynn, there are more comedic moments with Wong and his binge-watching misadventures, which are far too relatable and make him even more likable.

She-Hulk (Jennifer Walters)

Of course, the most likable character on the show so far is She-Hulk herself, with Jen reminding audiences at one point not to forget that the series is about her. Jen has proven that she’s a good person who tries to do the right thing, even when it endangers her career (as seen in her fight with Titania).

Jen also happens to be incredibly smart, has a great sense of humor, and is unbelievably relatable despite being a superhero. It’s fun to watch her try to figure out how to balance her career, personal life, and newfound abilities, as she does so with wit, bravery, and a touch of sarcasm.
