New behind-the-scenes images from She-Hulk: Attorney at Law show how the series' twerking scene was filmed. Starring Tatiana Maslany as the titular She-Hulk, the MCU's newest series to join Disney+ is a half-hour legal comedy, marking a stark contrast from shows like Loki, Hawkeye, and Moon Knight. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has been mostly well received by critics, with particular praise given to Maslany's performance and the show's self-aware tone. The show has proven somewhat divisive amongst general audiences, however, and was the target of review-bombing by a particularly angry subset of viewers.She-Hulk: Attorney at Law's most recent episode, "The People vs Emil Blonsky," saw Walters attempt to get Blonsky (Tim Roth) released from prison on parole. The episode features a few notable guest stars, including Wong (Benedict Wong), the Sorcerer Supreme, who testifies that Blonsky's brief escape from prison was his idea, which ultimately leads to Walters winning the case. In addition to Wong, the latest episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law also features a surprise appearance from rapper Megan Thee Stallion. The episode's mid-credits scene, which has proven divisive online, sees She-Hulk and Megan Thee Stallion dancing and twerking in Walters' office.Related: She-Hulk Episode 3's Credit Scene Makes No SenseIn a new post from @mcucomfort on Twitter, fans can get a behind-the-scenes look at how the twerking scene was filmed. The images show Maslany wearing a full motion-capture suit and dancing on a platform next to Megan Thee Stallion. The pictures also show that, while much of Walters' office is a real set, a blue screen was used to create the exterior environment. Check out the behind-the-scenes images below:

Although Walters appears as a regular human for much of the show, she also spends a great deal of time as She-Hulk. The CGI for She-Hulk has been the topic of much debate online, but the new images show that Maslany's physical performance is crucial reference material for the VFX artists. In addition to providing a reference for She-Hulk's movement and body language, Maslany also has a small camera pointed at her face as part of the suit's headpiece, meaning her facial expressions can also be captured and used in the creation of She-Hulk's own expressions.

The twerking scene has been heavily criticized online, with many fans feeling like the moment is taken too far and is uncharacteristic of the MCU. Other fans, however, seem to be enjoying the sillier tone of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and the show's risk-taking. It's unlikely She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will have any additional twerking scenes in future episodes, but, at the very least, the new behind-the-scenes images show just how integral Maslany is to the portrayal of She-Hulk and how much fun the actor seems to be having on set.
