Warning: SPOILERS for She-Hulk #7Marvel's She-Hulk has no shortage of romantic partners over the years, but her greatest one is far too strange for the MCU - at least for now. Jennifer Walters is one of the two major lawyer-superheroes in the Marvel Universe (the other being Daredevil) who uses her strengths both within and without the law. This attracts tremendous attention from both the criminal element and many suitors, but in She-Hulk #7, the best one to come around in years - a character named Jack of Hearts - is strictly a comics character with no apparent plans to transfer to the big screen.

The MCU version of She-Hulk is surprisingly true to the comics in multiple ways: she can transform from human to Hulk form at will (a skill that her cousin Bruce usually lacks), she's far more light-hearted than other similar heroes, and is capable of breaking the fourth wall to address the reader. While not as strong as the Hulk, she does take to her superpowers with ease, and this often attracts the attention of multiple love interests for the character. She-Hulk is known for partnering with Luke Cage, Hercules, and even Tony Stark.

Now, in She-Hulk #7, written by Rainbow Rowell with art by Luca Maresca, Jennifer Walters has finally met a man who puts all her previous partners to shame: the mysterious Jack of Hearts. Spontaneously appearing in New York after being left for dead (and actually dead), Jack appears to have social anxiety, memory loss, and an experience that transformed his powerful body into that of a mortal man. He has since stayed at She-Hulk's apartment while the two unravel the mystery together, but evidentially the pair have developed feelings for each other during that time.

Jack of Hearts Isn't Ready For The MCU (Yet)

She-Hulk and Jack of Hearts

The son of a human scientist and an alien Contraxian, Jack Hart developed the ability to project energy from his body after an experiment gone wrong. Over the years, Jack's powers became unstable, and he was forced to wear a containment suit that gave him his unique appearance and his name - but it was not enough, and Jack of Hearts eventually exploded in space (he died again in the exact same fashion during the Avengers Disassembled storyline). Jack's backstory, his powers, and his odd look make him far too strange for the MCU, especially when one considers his multiple deaths and resurrections.

However, 2022's She-Hulk Disney+ show has already showcased magic-wielding villains, an immortal con artist and demons from a hellish dimension. Factoring in those oddities, Jack of Hearts would fit right in were it not for his multiple deaths. She-Hulk has no dedicated love interest in the MCU as of the series' conclusion, but Jack of Hearts may be the person she needs in both the comics and the films.
