The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe television series focuses on the life of Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany), a defense attorney tasked with representing super-powered individuals in a court of law. Filled with cameos from characters throughout the Marvel universe including Emil Blonsky a.k.a. Abomination (Tim Roth), Titania (Jameela Jamil), and Matt Murdock a.k.a. Daredevil (Charlie Cox), the legal action-comedy's final episode included a surprise addition that many fans were hoping for.

She enters the "real world" to challenge the show's writers and successfully persuade Marvel Studios' all-powerful AI system, K.E.V.I.N., to change the episode's ending. After Walters gets all charges dropped and gets her job back, her parents host a family gathering with Murdock as the guest of honor. Speaking with TVLine, Coiro revealed that Skaar nearly had a very different and very adorable design in the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law finale. The director shared that she originally wanted Skaar to be similar in appearance to Grogu from the hit Star Wars television series, The Mandalorian. Read what Coiro said below:

“I had an idea that I wanted Skaar to be a toddler, like a Baby Yoda kind of character, but I don’t think that’s where the story is headed.”

How Will Skaar Fit Into the MCU's Future?

Hulk fights Thor on Sakaar

Instead of Skaar arriving into the MCU in Banner's arm as a young child, Skaar appears to be at least in his teenage years. However, the child's advanced age is plausible with time running at a different rate on Sakaar. With little known about Skaar's background within the MCU, fans are left to speculate as to how he will further the franchise's vast narrative.

Skaar originated in Marvel Comics as part of the Planet Hulk storyline in which Hulk was used as a gladiator under the tyrannical rule of the Red King. Eventually, Hulk led a rebellion and won, claiming authority over the planet and marrying Caiera, the mother of Skaar. However, this storyline was already partially used in the film Thor: Ragnarok where Hulk served as a gladiator under the Grand Master (Jeff Goldblum) and was part of an uprising against the flamboyant ruler. Earlier this year, Ruffalo teased that a World War Hulk story may be in his character's future which would further hint that a Planet Skaar story arc may also be involved. Regardless, without further news from Marvel Studios, audiences can only hope that Skaar's appearance in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is more than just a cameo.
