A new Marvel Cinematic Universe hero headlines She-Hulk: Attorney At Law's cast, but there is a mixture of new and familiar characters in the show. Marvel Studios began releasing MCU shows on Disney+ in 2021, and She-Hulk is already the final series of Phase 4. It is the first solo MCU project focused on a Hulk since 2008's The Incredible Hulk. Due to the complicated movie rights to Hulk and She-Hulk, Marvel op to make She-Hulk as a Disney+ series in the vein of a half-hour legal comedy.

Jennifer Walters a.k.a. She-Hulk becomes the third MCU superhero to make their debut headlining a Disney+ series, as Moon Knight (Oscar Isaac) and Ms. MarveIman Vellani) did so before. She-Hulk holds a distinctly different tone from the other new Phase 4 heroes, but it also is noticeably filled with known characters. She-Hulk herself might be making her debut, but several familiar MCU characters are returning thanks to the Disney+ show focused on Hulk's cousin.
