Spoiler Alert: This article contains spoilers for the first two episodes of She-Hulk!

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has been the latest Disney+ series to take the world by storm with its second episode getting even more dedicated MCU fans onboard. The series has seen Jennifer Walters become the legal superhero, bringing with her many questions that MCU fans have had for several years.

These range from the fallout from The Incredible Hulk to Bruce Banner’s status after Avengers: Endgame. She-Hulk has also provided answers to the events happening in MCU’s Phase Four, shaping the current phase to be much clearer for fans. Since there have been so many revelations, it’s worth taking a recap of all the answers that have been provided so far.

Did The World Know About The Eternals' Heroics?

Tiamut emerging from the clouds in Eternals

Eternals may have been a superhero movie that critics didn’t like, but the titular protagonists did save the world by preventing the birth of Tiamut. The Celestial was so massive that it seemed impossible that nobody would have noticed him. As it turned out, Tiamut’s body has been located and known worldwide.

A newspaper clipping from the second episode of She-Hulk revealed that investigations are ongoing over the giant statue sticking out of the ocean. It’s a direct reference to Eternals that also confirms Tiamut’s body has been left for the world to see - the exact reason why remains up for speculation within the MCU.

When Is Series Set In The MCU's Timeline?

Fans are excited to see movies set in future MCU phases, but the series has been notorious for its timeline being out of place. Movies and shows released later can be set before earlier entries and She-Hulk’s placement has been confirmed due to the newspaper piece about Tiamut and Abomination’s fight with Wong in Shang-Chi.

Eternals was set in early to mid-2024, while Shang-Chi takes place a little while before She-Hulk, according to head writer Jessica Gao (via TVLine). This means that She-Hulk is set at the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025 since Jen confirmed her transformation into She-Hulk happened months before.

How Does Bruce Feel About Emil Blonsky Now?

There was a wait of 14 years for those interested in Emil Blonsky’s whereabouts before he turned up in She-Hulk. Many were waiting to see a rematch between Hulk and Abomination, but they will have to make do with the fact that they made up offscreen.

As revealed by Bruce, he received a haiku from Blonsky where the latter apologized for his actions and showed remorse for trying to kill Bruce. Jen’s cousin has no more ill will toward Blonsky and the conflict between Hulk and Abomination has been laid to rest.

Are Abomination's Cage Fighting Excursions Public Knowledge?

Abomination’s appearance in Shang-Chi raised more questions than it answered, as the main question was how he managed to routinely escape captivity unnoticed. She-Hulk revealed that Abomination’s cage fighting excursions have been documented and are big news.

In fact, the same fight in Shang-Chi was broadcast on the news, meaning people viewers saw in the film attending the event ended up putting it out for the world to see. As it is, Wong and Abomination’s appearance in Shang-Chi was the MCU’s way of setting up a story in She-Hulk.

How Does Bruce Control His Transformations Into The Hulk?

Bruce’s appearance in his human form in Shang-Chi stumped the fanbase since he was supposed to permanently be in his Hulk body. She-Hulk resolved this question within the first scene when Bruce explained that he’d created the Hulk Inhibitor Device to revert to human form.

The device wasn’t a done deal since it was just a prototype that Bruce specifically designed to suit his own transformations. It turns out that his Hulk form is still the base appearance for Bruce, and he can’t become human without using the inhibitor, which has since been destroyed.

Did Captain America Have A Dating History?

Captain America flirting with a woman

Captain America had supposedly never had a girlfriend in the MCU, as viewers saw him move from one conflict into another. It was a long topic of discussion if he’d ever been intimate with anyone considering he’d never been in a position to have a dating life.

She-Hulk ended all speculation by confirming that Captain America had been intimate at least once during the 1943 USO tour. This makes the montage in Captain America: The First Avenger eye-opening in retrospect since this is the time when the character got together with someone. The reveal certainly sent a lot of people on Twitter in raptures after watching She-Hulk.

Where Did Bruce Merge His Consciousness With The Hulk?

Quite a lot of online fan reactions to the She-Hulk’s premiere had to do with Bruce’s training of Jen, which took place in a lab in Mexico. This turned out to be a reveal of where he was right after Thanos’ Snap, as Bruce told Jen that he’d been gifted the lab by Tony.

It was the same place where Bruce managed to combine his consciousness with the Hulk, which made sense since Tony had stocked the place well enough for Bruce to stay there for an extended period of time. In addition, it explained why Tony wasn’t surprised to see Bruce in his Hulk form in Avengers: Endgame.

Is The World Still Troubled By The Blip?

There have been many new MCU characters introduced in Disney+ shows, with a common thread being the Blip. While just about every Phase Four film and series has been about the impact of the Blip, She-Hulk hasn’t shown that to be a problem.

Considering She-Hulk takes place late in the timeline, the show has established that the Blip is now a thing of the past and the world has finally managed to readjust. It essentially means that the conflicts seen in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Spider-Man: Far From Home, among others, have been resolved.

Is Damage From The Infinity Stones Permanent?

The Infinity Stones were shown to be seemingly the most powerful items in the universe. Not even Thanos recovered after completing the Snap, with Hulk also left with an injured arm after he brought everyone back with the gauntlet created by Tony Stark.

She-Hulk revealed that the damage could very well be healed, as Bruce claimed he was finally getting better when he reverted to his human form. Moreover, Bruce used his spliced DNA with Jen’s blood to completely cure his arm, meaning the Infinity Stones’ damage isn’t a permanent problem.

Do Mutants Exist In The MCU?

Newspaper clip in She-Hulk

The X-Men are still not officially in the MCU, although She-Hulk went ahead and confirmed that Wolverine does exist. The same newspaper clipping that had the story of Tiamut’s corpse ran a story about a man who was fused with metal claws.

This was a reference to Wolverine and his adamantium claws, which alludes to the existence of mutants in the MCU. Since it’s expected that mutants will be integrated into the MCU in due course, this serves as the first nod to their presence, apart from Professor X’s appearance in Doctor Strange 2 which took place in a different reality.
