Jameela Jamil shares a BTS video that teases her transformation into Titania for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The upcoming MCU series stars Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner's cousin, who gains the ability to transform into a huge 6-foot-7-inch green-hued superhuman after getting cross-contaminated by his blood. Walters doesn't aspire to be a superhero, but with her powers, she becomes obliged to save the world. However, she doesn't give up on her career as a lawyer, either. A half-hour legal comedy, She-Hulk will follow Walters' juggling act as she switches between heroism and representing super-powered convicts in court.Viewers are excited for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law for a myriad of reasons. Maslany's new superheroine and Mark Ruffalo's comeback as Bruce Banner are obviously much hyped, but there is also a lot of anticipation for the return of Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock/ Daredevil after his brief appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Other cast members include Josh Segarra, Ginger Gonzaga, Jon Bass, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Tim Roth, although one star who has attracted much of the buzz is Jamil, beloved for her role on The Good Place, who will appear as the antagonist and She-Hulk's rival, Titania.Related: How She-Hulk Can Avoid Repeating Marvel's Copycat Villain ProblemNow, Jamil has shared a new BTS video from She-Hulk, and it captures the makeup and hairstyling process for her Titania transformation. When the first look at Jamil's Titania dropped, it provoked a backlash from some who found the outfit too ostentatious. The tight black bodysuit, golden-tasseled bottoms, pearl necklace, and eye-catching hairstyle led to a lot of discussion, despite the look's inspiration from the comics. However, Jamil put a positive spin on the criticism of her She-Hulk character, suggesting she accepts "every ounce of shade." However, while responding to the reproval, Jamil defended her hairstylist, elaborating on the labor involved in creating her look. Now, the BTS video reinforces her comments, as viewers can see for themselves that Titania's hair and makeup take a lot of time to get right. It's also interesting to see that Jamil herself contributes to the process, explaining in a follow-up comment that she does her makeup herself to save time in the chair.

Since Jamil's She-Hulk villain is described as an annoying social media influencer, it seems there is a deliberate attempt to give her a campy look that compliments her personality. The intentional flamboyance fits in well with the comedic and, at times, exaggerated tone of She-Hulk, making the villain and her unique flair one of the amusing aspects to look out for. Another thing that can be discerned from the clip Jamil shared is that Titania won't have a standard superhero costume, unlike in the comics. To maintain her fashionista disposition, Titania may switch outfits and jewelry in every new She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode. The sparkling dress and big necklace from the video could be one of her many looks, although this theory cannot be confirmed until the show lands on Disney+ August 18.
