The new She-Hulk: Attorney At Law series on Disney+ is seemingly embracing the comics in many ways, including Shulkie's tendency to make friends. Like in the comics, Jen Walters living a double life as a lawyer and superhero allows her to meet a lot of Marvel comic book characters both famous and obscure.

As a result, the Jade Giantess has made many friends and lovers in the comics over the years. These relationships end up playing a big part in Jen Walters' life; with some standing out more than others and are a big reason why her She-Hulk side is not a savage Hulk like her cousin.

John Jameson

A lot of things happened during the Civil War event, so it was nice to see Jen find happiness. She met John Jameson, the son of Spider-Man's longtime journalistic menace J. Jonah Jameson. The two genuinely fell for each other and got married, making one of the few characters that made Jen want to settle down.

Unfortunately, marriages in the Marvel universe are practically cursed. It turns out that Jameson was cursed thanks to moon rocks, and he was forced to become the werewolf known as Man-Wolf. Even though they would end up separating down the line, it was a charming relationship, and it seemed like Jen genuinely loved him.

Lyra The All-New Savage She-Hulk

In the comic book run titled She-Hulks, Jen found herself going from the fun-loving superhero to the wise mentor. Lyra, the daughter of Thundra and Hulk, had no control over her rage, and so she felt under the original She-Hulk's wing.

It's a fun dynamic that is perfect for a buddy action film and one of She-Hulk's most famous crossovers. Jen is a more calm and relaxed personality while Lyra is the angry and arrogant newcomer who needs to be trained. The two She-Hulks work together rather well despite their drastic differences.

Wyatt Wingfoot

She-Hulk has been part of several teams in the past and one of them was the F.F., a revamped version of the Future Foundation. While part of this team, Jen Walters reunited with Wyatt Wingfoot, a longtime ally of the Fantastic Four, and they hit it off again in a longtime on-and-off relationship.

Wyatt joined She-Hulk on many adventures but sadly, it was another romance that wasn't meant to last. Something always managed to get in the way of their relationship, including Wyatt understandably returning to his Comanche tribe to partake in a negotiation between the U.S. Government and his tribe about the oil reserve beneath their land.

Jazinda

A former agent of the Skrull, Jazinda is one of the most powerful of her race and she fled to Earth to get away from her father and the Kree. She ended up joining Freeman Bonding Inc., a bail bonds company specializing in superhuman law. This is what led her to meet the superhuman lawyer: She-Hulk.

The two became good friends with She-Hulk helping Jazinda when the Skrull Empire came to Earth led by Jaz's father to kill her. There are also hints that the two may like each other as more than friends, but that has never been explored.

Captain Marvel

Carol Danvers and Jen Walters are just as good friends as they are partners. The two have always had each other's backs, even if it caused both a lot of pain. For example, She-Hulk remained on Carol Danvers' side during the Civil War II storyline. However, it was that loyalty that nearly got She-Hulk killed and turned into Gray She-Hulk, much to Carol's dismay.

However, the two remained loyal and ended up leaders of an all-female superhero group known as A-Force. Both characters are similar; they are powerful beings, but they aren't flawless humans. Both have made mistakes, but they believe in fighting for good whenever they can. Combined with charming chemistry and banter, they are a good partnership.

Bruce Banner

When Bruce Banner was abused as a child by his father, Jen was the closest thing to a sister who befriended him. They remained loyal to each other to adulthood, especially when she was wounded and needed a blood transfusion which transformed her into the She-Hulk.

Since her transformation, Jen has always been at her cousin's side when he needed her. They have been partners as gamma-heroes and as Avengers. Jen is always the brains and brawn while the Hulk side of Bruce Banner is a tank. It's a nice dynamic with Jen acting as a moral compass as well as the comic relief when they are together.

Hellcat

Patsy Walker first met She-Hulk during the Savage She-Hulk era, but their friendship didn't kick off until she became Jen's private investigator for the new law firm. It allowed for She-Hulk to mix superhero and lawyer work and the two bonded throughout the Charles Soule run.

This friendship would continue and would be further explored during Civil War II when Jen was put into a coma by Thanos. The damage done to her friend is what kept Hellcat from picking a side in the war between heroes; all she cared about was taking care of Jen: the sign of a true friend.

Janet Van Dyne

Also known as The Wasp, Janet is not only She-Hulk's friend, but she was also the one that invited She-Hulk to join the Avengers. Ever since then, Jen and Janet have had a close bond as friends and this is most noticeable in the recent 2022 comic run by Rainbow Rowell which has become a new quintessential comic for She-Hulk.

The two are roommates who support each other, especially Janet who helps She-Hulk restart her life after years of trauma and internal crises involving the duality of Jen and She-Hulk. Janet has always been one of the more kind and caring Avengers, so it's impossible to not smile when the two interact.

The Fantastic Four

Jen bonded with the Fantastic Four and helped them out from time to time over the years. She and Susan Storm AKA The Invisible Woman would become leading members of the Lady Liberators, she always loved and respected Reed as a friend, and enjoyed the fun-loving nature of Johnny Storm.

This friendship would even lead to She-Hulk gaining one of her most iconic outfits when she became a member of the Fantastic Four for a temporary period. Though this would not last, She-Hulk has since been an honorary member of Marvel's first family and that continues to this day.

Ben Grimm

She-Hulk and The Thing in Marvel comics

Before she even met the other members of the Fantastic Four, She-Hulk met Ben Grimm AKA The Thing during her Savage She-Hulk era in Marvel: Two-In-One #88. This fun crossover led to a friendship that became so iconic that it celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2002 with Thing & She-Hulk: The Long Night.

The fun-loving She-Hulk mixed with Ben Grimm's tough but good-hearted nature led to a match made in heaven; even She-Hulk was smitten by the rock monster at first, but the two remained friends afterward. They both bring a lot of depth as characters as well as fun interactions, leading to a longtime friendship that is still going with the Rainbow Rowell comic run.
