Jennifer Walters is the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe's ever-expanding array of superheroes, currently starring in the Disney+ original series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Portrayed by Tatiana Maslany, Jenn is one of the franchise's all-star superhero lawyers.

Given her career in the judicial system, Jenn Walters is bound to find herself defending certain other superheroes at some point in her career. With the first episodes of She-Hulk finally airing on Disney+, fans can't help but wonder which Avengers she may defend in a court of law.

Hulk

While She-Hulk presents plenty of questions regarding Hulk's future in the MCU, there still remain so many about the character's past. Not the least of these curiosities is exactly how the hulking behemoth has been able to evade legal pursuit as a result of his many rampages, which has doubtlessly accumulated an incredible debt in damaged property for Dr. Bruce Banner.

Though it is possible that his Avengers status has kept Bruce unscathed by such worries, it wouldn't come as a shock for fans to learn that the Hulk was being held accountable for the incredible damage he has caused. When this happens, he'll want his closest contact in the judicial system, his own cousin, there by his side to defend him for his actions as the mindless Hulk.

Ant-Man

Scott Lang with a stolen suit in Ant-Man

Paul Rudd's Scott Lang may be an Avenger now, but his history prior to his superhero days is anything but clean. The man now known as Ant-Man was once a cat burglar, finding himself thrown into prison at least once before continuing his days of smalltime crime in the first Ant-Man film.

Though Scott is now on the straight and narrow, he still occasionally finds himself on the wrong side of the law, including breaking his house arrest order in Ant-Man and the Wasp. When the FBI inevitably comes for him following this breach of trust, Jennifer Walters will certainly be the Avenger's biggest defender in a court of law.

Moon Knight

Moon Knight atop a building looking down.

This year's Moon Knight introduced audiences to several of Marc Spector's many alternate personalities, including his villainous alter-ego, Jake Lockley, who murders Arthur Harrow in the finale's post-credit scene. While Marc and Steven Grant seem unaware of this occurrence, Harrow's murder may come back to haunt them in Season 2.

Fans would barely be able to contain their excitement if, at the next season's opening, Jennifer Walters made a cameo as Marc Spector's lawyer, defending her client in the wake of a crime he is supposed to have committed. Such an event would also be the perfect way to tie Moon Knight into the events of the larger MCU, which he has been largely disconnected from thus far.

The Winter Soldier

Bucky pointing a gun at Zemo in the MCU

Bucky Barnes, also known as the Winter Soldier, has had a troubled history in the MCU. Despite his actions as an assassin for Hydra during the Cold War, the character has reformed under more heroic intentions, forging a promising future for himself in the franchise, perhaps as a member of the MCU's Thunderbolts.

Though Bucky has supposedly received a full pardon for his actions as the Winter Soldier, the former assassin may yet find himself on the wrong side of the law given his propensity to disobey orders he feels are unwarranted. When this inevitably happens, he'll need a skilled lawyer like Jennifer Walters to have his back in a court of law.

Hawkeye

Clint Barton as Ronin in the rain in Avengers: Endgame

Despite his mostly heroic career in the MCU, Clint Barton had a particularly dark phase following his family's death in the Decimation. The Avenger formerly known as Hawkeye spent several years as the Ronin, during which he mercilessly murdered entire gangs of criminals all around the world.

The MCU had remained tight-lipped regarding exactly how Barton managed to evade answering for his crimes as the Ronin, though it appears the public is mostly unaware of his identity. Should such information ever be brought to life, however, Jennifer Walters could serve as Barton's legal consultant throughout the ordeal, perhaps arguing that the Avenger's actions were done with the intent of keeping the world safe.

Spider-Man

Tom Holland as Spider-Man in No Way Home

Spider-Man has had his fair share of legal troubles in the MCU. After his identity was leaked to the press at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter Parker found himself in hot water, especially due to the incessant attacks from Daily Bugle personality J. Jonah Jameson.

Though No Way Home included a cameo from Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock, who served as Peter's lawyer, it would still be enormously satisfying to see yet another superhero lawyer take a crack at defending the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. In fact, a lawyer team-up between Murdock and Walters on Peter's behalf may prove to be one of the most fan-pleasing scenes in the entirety of the MCU.

Scarlet Witch

Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in a hellish garden in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness

Wanda Maximoff was one of the most prominent members of the Avengers before her villainous turn in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. After the Westview incident and the attack on Kamer-Taj, the former superhero is certain to be held accountable for her actions should she ever reappear.

Wanda has proven herself to be one of Marvel's most powerful villains yet, but would certainly need extra legal help when brought into a court of law. Though there is little that could justify Wanda's gruesome actions, Jennifer Walters would be the former Avenger's best hope of exoneration, perhaps by pleading temporary insanity under the power of the Darkhold.

Doctor Strange

Benedict Cumberbatch in Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange is one of the MCU's greatest heroes, mostly due to his willingness to make sacrifices in order to save the world. His greatest gamble, however, certainly came at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, wherein he gave the Time Stone to Thanos, knowing that he had to let the Titan succeed if the Avengers were to defeat him later.

Though Strange's choice did ultimately lead to Thanos's defeat, his plan required the deaths of half of all living beings in the universe for five years. Those affected by this tradeoff may call for Strange's prosecution, something that Jennifer Walters, as a superhero herself, would stand in the way of, knowing that certain gambles must sometimes be made for the greater good.

Captain America

Chris Evans as Steve Rogers aka Captain America in Avengers Infinity War

Captain America has often been described as a "square-jawed superhero" who plays by the book and keeps himself untouched by the morally grey areas of the modern world. However, his arc throughout the MCU has often found himself on the wrong side of the law, most notably after the institution of the Sokovia Accords in Captain America: Civil War, which the Avenger openly disobeyed.

Many fans expect She-Hulk to delve deeper into the current state of the Sokovia Accords in the MCU, perhaps revealing whether or not Jennifer Walters supported the movement. Nevertheless, given her fascination with the personal life of Steve Rogers, Jenn might not have been able to resist the opportunity to defend the Avenger in court, especially if it meant learning a bit more about his love life.

Iron Man

Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark may be the MCU's beloved superhero, but that doesn't leave him unanimously liked within the fictional franchise. In fact, many characters therein have leveled worthwhile accusations at the Avenger, including questioning his actions in creating Ultron, who very nearly destroyed the planet.

Had Tony ever been brought to court for his botched experiment, Jennifer Walters would have undoubtedly been his best chance at escaping unscathed. As the cousin of one of Tony's closest friends, Jenn would have done her best to exonerate Stark, defending his actions and bringing out the superhero's positive intentions.
